since someone mentioned in the comments the characters were immoral, my expectations for the drama were on the floor but i unexpectedly quite appreciated the drama? i was bored and it was good enough to spend time, definitely an interesting pov on how a cheater and his lover were "fated" to be...
I normally wait until the drama finishes airing before I make a fmv. HOWEVER, the main leads chemistry is off…
haha i've been wanting to make a fmv as well but i still have my wrtw one to finish so it'll have to wait š, canāt help falling in love with you would be perfect with it i think, i can't wait to watch your edit!!
finally gave myself the strength to finish the drama but i still didnāt manage to not end completely heartbroken š really loved deokim, in the two last episodes i felt so sad for her, i already know itās based on a real story but the last scene still put my heart in peace despite my tears not stopping falling š this was a very beautiful drama
slowly catching up with the episodes and it's been so long since i didn't skip or fastfoward any scene of a drama, i fell in love with the drama from the start but every new episode is a masterpiece so i'm loving it more and more, the pacing is for sure fitting my taste neither too slow or too fast, i mentioned it before but i looooooooove the soundtracks so much, even the ost are amazing, i get chills on some scenes, every shots are amazing, the scene in episode 7 where pgw and cgy fall together in the water i was speechless? probably one of the prettiest kdrama scene i've ever seen, i would say the only thing a bit funny and out of place they cry a lot (too much lol) and the big shots on their tears are a bit overdramatic lmaoo but it's just a small negative stuff. my favorite things about the drama: except for yoo jung every character is highly flawed, all of them are morally grey and it's so interesting, we have one overly emotional and revengful, one full of trauma and a savior complex, they both want power but are both messy as hell, the drama makes you understand there isn't a good or bad side since both leads are anti-heros and i would say even have villain motivations, the actual hero with only protagonist qualities is yoo jung (#girlboss) i also really love how the romance between the leads progress with the politics i don't remember watching this type of romance before (or at least not unfolding this way) and it's somehow really exciting, watching lee tae being put in this intense dilemma, "love or power, he wants both but is forced to pick one, he can't let her die but it would mean letting his enemy gets what he wants" i like this so much it's so thrilling, and yes of course the plot is wonderfully executed so far, i hope they'll manage to keep up until the last episode, i mentioned the perfect pacing but also the climax, in every episode i feel my stomach clench... and now i'll go watch the two last episodes out!!
Ep 9, PGW witness alot of officials Courts being wrongly executed by lee tae Grandfather (My prediction), thats…
pgw ideologies arenāt wrong but heās no good man, his ways of handling things also made blood spill, because at the end he doesnāt want the king to have the full power but he instead has the full power so he isnāt any better, heās hypocrite because heās doing what heās criticizing, he has shown that controlling the power from behind is more effective than being the king so this is probably why he doesnāt overthrow the monarchy (it would also cause revolts among people which isnāt his aim, because letās remember kings and royal families are considered sacred people at that time) so i donāt count him as a loyal subject, he might be loyal to the monarchy system but not the kings since heās the one with the most power (because itās not a balance of power between him and the king, the king currently has no power at all), also itās an era where officials court were often corrupted and abused their power (even if they donāt mention it in bloody heart it was like that), just like pgw all of them are from privileged families and didnāt get picked by the people or a fair system so giving power to such people isnāt a good thing either, i donāt think the drama tries to tell us there is a good and bad side, they tell us instead power is a dangerous thing no matter in which hands it falls (and will probably ruin all of them at the end)
