This was such a good drama. Light and fun to watch, some great little lessons to learn and you can't deny the eye candy - easily one of the best looking casts in my drama experience (yes, to me, they even beat the Korean F4).
And even me, the grand lover of all things in a love triangle, found this drama refreshing with all the romances for each of the boys. The ending made me smile :)
Highly recommended!

These days, I find myself attracted to more historical romance settings. I know a lot of people hate love triangles but I seem to thrive on them :3 Other than that, I like rom-coms mainly. Heh, I think I like romance a little too much.

In the first half of the drama, I loved Baby Emperor to death but in the second half, I feel the love coming on more and more for Wang Yoo.
And well, Taltal - I've loved you all along.

I hope their endings are happy.

I thought I couldn't hate anyone more than I did Tanashiri.
Boy, was I wrong.
Empress Dowager is a nasty piece of work.
And Empress Bayan ain't far behind either.
I can't wait for Empress Bayan to show her true colours and Empress Dowager's just going to be there like, "Maybe I should've trusted Lady Ki after all, dirty barbarian Goryeo blood and all."
Crossing my fingers for it to blow up in her face.

Also, please let Wang Yoo and Seung Nyang get some time with their son where they're actually aware that it is their child D: PLEASE.

And I'm done! Now that was a roller coaster of emotions. First 20 episodes were a breeze to watch but for me, I hated Zheng Er, Gao Wei & Zu Ting too much to really watch their scenes in the episodes after. However, with the exception of Zu Ting - who I still hate - I don't hate Zheng Er & Gao Wei quite as much by the time the drama ended. They're still horrid people but truly, as demented as they were, I think it was the circumstances they were in that shaped their character.
My favourite character was definitely Yu Wen Yong. He's quite possibly my favourite character & second male lead of all the dramas I've watched so far. He is the reason you should watch this drama. All the episodes that had him were my favourite, especially episodes 15 to 17.
As for the ending, I didn't find it as sad as some seem to have. I thought it was a fitting end for a great drama.
Definitely recommend it!

Zheng Er angst towards the end?! I'm now watching episode 21 and there's so much Zheng Er angst that I want to skim D:
I'm missing Yuwen Yung and Zhen Er too. As cute as Fourth Prince and Xue Wu are together, I'm kind of hoping Xue Wu ends up back in Zhou again. Episodes 15 to 17 were my favourites so far.

I heard that and at first I wasn't going to watch it but I got sucked in.
I'm up to episode 20 and while I want to smack Zheng Er, it's just so good D:

Up to episode 12 and loving it! Prince An De makes me laugh so much. Such a ladies man, this guy. And Xiao Dong, so cute! And Yuwen Yung, the seemingly bad one you love anyway (so far at least)! And of course, Fourth Prince :3

I'm up to episode 12 and so far, it's been really good! Everything I like - romance, drama, fun, action - it's all there for me!
Of course, I haven't reached the end yet so I'm probably not the best judge.

As much as I hated her character, I want Tanashiri back after seeing this new empress.
Please don't go bad on me, Empress Ki. I've loved you too much to have you spiral on me now. :(

I just finished Bu Bu Jing Xin and came on here to see when this drama would be airing and it's TOMORROW!
Is this fate telling me that I must watch this?
I wish this would pick up where Bu Bu Jing Xin ended! I feel like I need more of Ruoxi and 4th Prince ;-;

Definitely a favourite. When I look back on all the things that happened in this drama, I feel amazed. The story flows so smoothly that you don't feel the time passing & yet many events happened; it's mind boggling.
There are times you hate some characters but then, they all redeem themselves at some point or another. The emotions are so well-played that you feel every bit of it. There are times you want to scream with happiness, there are times when you're biting your nails, there are times when all you want to do is give some characters a big hug & some love.
The costumes are beautiful, the actors & actresses are all gorgeous & you'd think men that were half bald mightn't be that attractive but boy, it grows on you.
After completing this drama, I feel like some of the others I've watched pale so much in comparison that I don't know what to watch now.
Highly recommended!

I thought I wouldn't like this drama and boy, was I wrong! So good. I'm on 29/35 and reading the comments below make me both excited and terrified to see what happens. I guessed from what I saw on tumblr. (Never look up tags for a drama that you haven't completed)

I died a little bit inside when Wang Yoo looked at his son for the first time and didn't even know he was his and Seung Nyang's child.

On another note, Ji Chang Wook is adorable but put a baby in the man's hands and he becomes the epitome of perfection.

I'm currently watching Bu Bu Jing Xin and I do so love 4th & 13th Prince's relationship. :')

Wait, 14th Prince is in love with her too?! I started this drama a couple of days ago and I'm finding it so hard not to watch it! I didn't realize I'd commented on this article before but honestly, this drama is amazing. I'm at episode 12 and loving every minute of it!
No but seriously I did not see that 14th Prince one coming. I don't know who to root for anymore. Too many princes to love!

Someone kill Tanashiri and put her (and me) out of misery.
