This movie is based on a manga, and you can recognize it immediately due to its exaggerated behaviors that work well in the manga format but come across as unnatural in live action.

I’m sure the manga is much better, however, I didn’t enjoy this movie very much. I believe this is mainly because the elements from the manga world don't translate well to a live-action setting, and also the way the scenes transitioned from one to another ( I am guessing maybe they were following the manga storyboard) really affected the flow of the movie. It felt incomplete, as if some parts were not edited properly.
Maybe someone will like this but for me is a pass.
