Waiting for the mess when the prosecutor finds out that the cleaning lady-office assistant is I MiJin. Also trying to figure out who is the bastard, and why there is a gap between the desaparecidas from years back and the subsequent killing. I have a suspect: the older guy who joined the seniors after the nice older guy living with the handicapped leg was gone. Finally, I like the music, I read that it is by the sam eauthor who did the Itaewon Class music. Sorry for the rambling.
I was wondering why they even made did a remake of this ....
I am guessing because the original show was considered to become a magnet also in a Korean version (three other countries had already tried). At times remakes work out. The best example I know is a French comedy, which Danish Gabriel Axel (the guy of the Babette's movie, which won the Oscar) used for "Alt på et bræt". The Danish version is way better, more natural.
After watching the first episode, skipping through a pile of stuff in the second, I waited for the subsequent ones to air without watching them so I could see other people's reactions. My initial gut feeling that the series is meaningless is so far confirmed. I see the viewers diminishing in Korea, I see few postings about this stuff. If someone enjoys it, I won't spoil their fun. I stop here. To all those who posted about this series, thanks for dissuading me and confirming it yet again. 감사합니다
Just started today. Just did one episode. It's very good, but the scene of the finding of the dead friend is off. I understand that the writer wanted to maximize the effect, especially for the people, who hadn't guessed (there were clues that she had done it), however a dead person starts to stink upon dying, and if insects are involved, you'll get tons of flies as well.
I don't understand your comment, do you mind explaining it better?
When episodes are put on hold, there is an official explanation, but that is seldom the real cause. They are doing something else, which they prefer to cover under the official explanation. Often they are redoing product placements. In this case, I am guessing that the product in question is the show itself: by postponing the episode, they are trying to whip up anxiety/interest in these final episodes and thus increase the audience (which has a market value). Notice that here the official explanation is that they want to improve the CGI, which is tantamount to admit that they did a shoddy work before (although the fans won't even notice the equation). Why do it if it not for something valuable?
I find it sad that stuff like Squid game and All of us are dead are ranked so high.
If you ask - having seen that stuff - it means that your taste and mine are diametrically opposite. If you haven't seen it, I already explained it in my reviews.

The activist lawyer was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The world needs real people like her. One great thing about this series is that it is not all about the FL, but the people around her are important, too. Case in point is this activist lawyer, who appears to inspire the FL.
Yeeeeeah the story is definitely stretched out to 20+ episodes when tighter writing and less filler could have…
Happy to hear I am not the only one (vox clamantis in deserto?). Also happy that there are better things on netflix (e.g., IMHO Extraordinary attorney Woo and My unfamiliar family.).
Am I the only one who thinks that it's getting more and more boring? Are they stretching this stuff to get to episode 20 to announce the second series (a prequel, as Jung SuMin apparently is not part of the cast?)?
