I may be obtuse, but who is the father of HeeDo's daughter? Is the writer trying to probe - using several baits - the audience, to see whether the series gets renewed?
Kim MiKyoung playing Mrs. Bae is very natural in her dealing with her two series-daughters, just like in the few scenes, which she was given in the recent movie "Sweet and sour". Her dynamic performance makes - IMO - many of the younger actors look very static.
They probably need time to rewrite and re-enact whatever is left because the ratings are far behind those of the second series. If I were one of the guys who placed products in the third series based on the audience of the second series, which showed a "log" growth (meaning that product placement for the third series was expen$$$ive), I'd be pretty upset. Did anyone notice the wine at the dinner when the guy proposes? It was cheap stuff as it came with a screw cap. I understand that the series probably was hoping for a product placement, and didn't get it, but come on! They should have had proper wine with a cork!
If I were PiYoung I'd be VERY careful about believing a guy who: 1. admits having changed girlfriends like paper tissues, 2. just dumped the fiancée for the second time at the altar.
"Ive been i n a love/hate relationship with this drama since season 1"Hence the title of the series. I think that…
Thanks for the compliments. Looks like you liked Catullus' 2-line poem (it's something one learns willy-nilly in Italian high schools). Glad to see you for the third series (you have great insight), and possibly at the time of other series. Just call me Siro (that's my first name)
Im watching bec I wanted to finish the stories of each wife, but Ive been i n a love/hate relationship with this…
"Ive been i n a love/hate relationship with this drama since season 1" Hence the title of the series. I think that the author knew exactly what she was doing with the audience. Like good old Catullus wrote: Odi et amo, quare id faciam fotasse rquiris. Nescio, sed fieri sentiuo et excrucior. Daring to translate this stuff from high school times: I hate and love. You'd ask me why I do it. I don't know. What I know, is that I feel it and burn as a result.
So, the spirit of the grand-pa is still around and farting, some ladies are getting at each others' throat (and seeds of more fighting were planted), while the author started what she is known for, eliminating characters. I can't figure out which products are being placed, so I guess, that either I am too old, or the product placement is not working very well.
It's off to a start. Best wishes to Lee Shi Eun, her two kids (the daughter was good in the 2022 Beloved Summer series), and her possible new partner/hubby. Best wishes to Song Won and her kid. Happy to see again Song Won's soon to be father- and mother-in-law.
lmao just admit you want to watch some action packed drama and didnt enjoy lore focused fantasy drama. and "start…
You could have looked at my reviews (e.g., "Made in Heaven" and "Sweet and sour"), to have an idea about my taste instead of inventing. As far as starting a gaemul conglomerate, I have no clue what you are trying to say. I noticed that you skipped over the hantavirus and pathogens in the blood. You could have asked why I mentioned that stuff.
They could make this stuff more interesting. It's slooooow. It's repe-repe-repe-titititive. No wonder the viewership is not picking up. They could show Bulgasal fighting the Japanese troops in 1895-1945, getting hantavirus during the Korean War like many American soldiers did, or HepB and/or HIV from blood, applying to enter the 1988 Olympic games, start a Gaemul Chaebol, do something! It's not even clear why the monsters stayed in Korea, and how come they all ended up on the south side (not one in PyongYang!).
My list of points (1-6) refers to science. I fully realize it was far from complete. Thanks for making it longer.…
You are 100% right in stating that it's pure fiction. The plot is itself meaningless. Pretty much they sent the famous actors to save this mess. Didn't work. Apparently tons of people liked it. Poor world!
WTF was that physics+maths in the final episode?! You get multiplied water from 1 person and it blows up the ventilation…
It's even worse than what you so extensively write when you consider a bunch of lab stuff presented, which is plain wrong, and the absence of stuff, that would have improved the labs (hoods, sterilization equipment, disposal procedures, ...).
