I was worried my 3.5 rating would be the lowest, thanks for taking the bullet from the fanbois on this one buddy!…
Glad to be of help. Honestly I rated it very low because I couldn't see much value in the production. Someone pointed out that the casting was underrated in my evaluation, so I gave it a second look. Still, it's - using the US metrics (got scolded for saying what I thought about a FL in "Love ft marriage and divorce" using French metrics) - an F.
I don't think your score for the acting/cast is fair if I'm honest. Even if you don't like a show, especially…
You are right. Some of the poor actors, who were being mowed down for no reason, and at times showed emotions etc., deserve a much higher mark. The animals, the human footstools, the whatever in red, stay at 2, though. Let me see if I can fix it.
You are 100% right. I honestly can't figure out, who might like it, but we are all different, and I guess some people could (hence the decision to produce the series).
Just bumped into it on Netflix. Slowly going through each episode. It's not bad. Could the series be better (I have only seen 5-6 episodes so far). Probably. The thing about the halos and the expert is rather artificial (which is needed to have the angel stuck on Earth), but the series is definitely enjoyable, with attention to details here and there.
Prof. Park was last seen in his car sobbing next to a river, having destroyed his mariage and knowing that his dream was also destroyed. He even told the girl that she was the best memory of his life. After that no one was able to get a hold of him. The guy is gone.
Going against the current: the ending was very astute. It fixed some stuff (GaBin's triangle falling apart also resulting in a suicide, new family lawyer-translator-child, divulgation that the witch had killed the old man). It really only left one thing open: who - if any - since the guy is a hardcore bachelor, is catching the interest of the engineer? SiEun or PiYoung? The drummer - to the utmost chagrin of many here on MDL - is out: the guy keeps refusing any chance of being on a tête-à-tête with her (personal comment: excellent choice). Not sure that's enough material for a third series (I hear that this series is extremely popular in Korea, a point confirmed here in Canada within the local Korean diaspora)
One final (I guess) comment. If I were the writer, I would leave a mess in the middle of Ep. 16, and move to "6 months later" on the next screen shot and show what happened after (along the lines ofr the witch vs. A Mi fight where we get the before and after, but not the fight itself). One is in the insane hospital, a few are married/remarried, some drink, one or two are in jail, one or two are dead, one had amystical experience and is now in the temple, the kids are growing, etc. Good luck to almost all the characters (some exceptions apply), and happy to have read a variety of comments. Hope to see you in other occasions. Ravi de vous avoir connu, et ravi de vous revoir.
So, which of the stuff shown in the series is something that the writer experienced first hand? knows from friends? knows from other sources? invented?
Of courses now i’m wondering what part of trailer is real and what is fantasy?
That's the illusion created by the trailer unfortunately. I really hope the grandpa does manifest himself through someone, though. "I have a few things to say, ..."
They wanted to cheat? "Enjoy!" Once you break the bonds of marriage (and there are tons of ways, and they don't only involve the superficial sexual contact with others), you are setting yourself up for a mess, or as we French-Canadians (and the Bible) - or vice versa - say "Qui sème le vent récolte la tempête."
Looks like finally we are making sense of the grandpa ghost, chosing a body through which express himself. It reminded me - not sure why - of the commendatore in Mozart's Don Giovanni, appearing towards the end to exact revenge. "Don Giovanni, a cenar teco, m'invitasti, e son venuto ..."
Looks like a lot of viewers missed how cute the dog behaved in the apartment (playing on the sofa etc.), and human things like Song Won being introduced as daughter rather than upcoming daughter-in-law.
OK...am gonna test out a response in french to see if it makes grammatical sense :Hye Ryung est une garce mais…
Please, please, "la langue de Molière" just means French (lit. Molière's language). I didn't quote him this time. I just happen to be officially French-Canadian because I declared French my first language (I was first schooled in French in France). It actually bugs my wife that I speak a few languages, though not hers. That's why she taught me to say that I speak it 쥐꼬리만큼.

Une petite exception dans ce truc que j'ai commencé dans la langue de Molière. Unfortunately, I never heard about Eugenia Cheng until now. She and you are certainly right that some males have a pronounced congressive trait as you state. I knew one person way back in grad school, whom practically everyone perceived to be gay as a result, and was not. She and and you are also certainly right about the fact that the world needs a diversity of characters. The world would be boring and impossible with people conforming to just one kind, and unable to change/grow.
He wanted to make sure he would be suffering for the rest of his life rather than getting 2-3 years in jail letting…
The best answer I can give you (for a better one you need to ask someone else) is: the guy will be guilt-ridden for life, while the jail term won't do that. The jail term may even give him a reason to blame society and look at himself as a victim.

US stuff tends to pit good vs. bad, but the real world is different, and Korea is not the US.
