The book does have more after the lake scene events...but right now I don't know if I can see anyone else portraying Xinger/YWY other than ZLY and LGX...boo!! :(

Yes yes please!! High God Zhe Yan we need you to help us expel these 20+ bad episodes from the series...no better yet, we need Dong Hua Dijun to perform a memory altering spell on us so that we would only remember the happy Xinger-YWY times. There's another novel yall should read too it's even better than Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, it's by the same author, called The Pillow Book, I'm hoping they make it into a drama because it is the love story of Feng Jiu and Dong Hua Dijun and he's hilarious in this one with his dry humor!! :D

There's no complete English translation that I know of. I read the novel via the Vietnamese translation. I've posted a few happy scenes from the book in the comments section here, and will be posting more through the discussion threads above so you can check out later if interested. :)

Don't know @Linh I am still in denial...I was really hoping that they would follow the book and give us a few seconds glimpse of a happy ending...:( I really need the amnesia potion shot!! Pronto!! I need to forget about this show all together because it's really deviated so far from the book!! :(

LOL I'm reading the live comments from the Vietnamese channel and everyone is just as flabbergasted as we are...they all said if they knew it was going to end like this they wouldn't have watched the show to begin with...I wholeheartedly agree!! The story in the book was so beautiful why did they have to muck it up this bad??!! No justice to the beautifully written story at all!! Disappointed!!

omg omg omg girls!! I caught the end of the episode from the vietnamese youtube episode and they really did it...stupid production company really did it...they ended it with YWY falling to the bottom of the lake!! I'm soooooo mad!! 67 episodes for this STUPID ending?????!!! Ahhhhh!!!!!

What what?! Omg Yue Qi dies?! I now officially hate this director he is insane!! Yue Qi in the book survived and rescued YWY!! :(

I know right?! YeHua crying melted my heart...plus he had little rice ball as his wing man who wouldn't fall for him lol...that was a smart play to win his lady back btw, she can say no to him but she can't say no to the cute little rice ball!!

YWY later in the book definitely reminds me of YeHua...they both love passionately and their jealously makes them act childish lol...

The book described him as someone who's handsome and mysterious because he doesn't express himself so no one can tell what he's thinking or feeling...and Chu Qiao as an exceptional beauty...all the ladies pawn over YWY but he only has his eyes for one person and Chu Qiao even admits this later in the book about how lucky she is that out of all these women the person he loves and chooses to be with is her...she said something like "I don't really believe in god or whatever but I have to thank the Gods for blessing me with this man who loves only me...this happiness is too surreal that I fear may disappear from me at any given moment."

No problem at all I'm so glad to share my excitement about this story with others!! I will try to post the parts about their kids later...YWY is so funny in these parts because he gets very jealous and possessive and his son is the same way and they constantly fight over who gets to sleep with Xinger!!
