Finally finished this after months... It had a promising start and an interesting storyline but the plot became nonsensical in the second half. The last few episodes especially were so brutal, almost like I was watching the writer and director do everything they could to drag the story for a few more episodes; unnecessarily long scenes, useless character deaths, flashbacks we've seen a million times, and worst of all the characters suddenly became stupid. Seriously, wasted potential!! 7.5/10
I'm so disappointed in the ending honestly. They spent the entire last few episodes talking about how Xiangyun needed back Cang Hai's powers, only for her to use it twice and be overshadowed by Chu Kong. Don't get me wrong, I love Chu Kong, but I think the writer could've given Xianygun more scenes to showcase her powers. In a lot of other parts of the drama she also had the potential not to be a weeping damsel in distress, wish they had also fixed that. Not to mention the terrible ending of Ming Yue… She deserves so much better!! For two of the most powerful characters in the drama, they were defeated too easily. Chu Kong for the most part was amazing, barely have any complaints for his character. Xiu Ming was intolerable for the first part and I ignored him for the second part. Zihui and Luo's relationship became too toxic so I lost interest. Other characters are mostly forgettable. Average yet still a pretty smart villain, despicable but also forgettable. 8.5/10 drama, I'm being courteous due to the ML being so good, FL being a powerful female character in the past and being sensible in the present, plus the interesting storylines.

Probably, I just think he never should’ve existed in the first place. Really doesn’t make sense for him to turn evil now, he should maybe do some self reflection and realize that Dohee and Gu Won are in love so he should go find his own. Smh
The butler really is the worst, idk why Gu Won keeps telling him things. All he does is run his mouth to Gayoung, the stupidest character I’ve ever seen. What a team she is with Seokhoon the most useless character. The writer should’ve made Seokhoon the main villain bc there’s no way he’s genuinely that badly written? We never see him do anything except pine over a married woman… At least we've seen more from psycho Gayoung, she sees Guwon as her saviour and has some weird possessiveness towards him, we also see her doing her performance thing, Does Seokhoon just sit down and think about Dohee 24/7 ?!?

Omg right! There’s really nothing I hate more than love triangles/squares but I like this plot so I was willing to suffer, however this one makes me really mad.
I somewhat agree about Ga Young. I think it would make more sense for her to have platonic feelings for Gu Won and just regard him as her older brother. It’s hella weird that she’s so in love with him.
As for Seok Hoon, 100% agree. I also hateee the way he lowers his tone to talk to her it honestly makes me so mad. ATP I’m not even sure if he likes her or just pities/wants to ‘protect’ her.

I didn’t say he was the best or a great actor, I just think compared to his other performances, his one in sweet home is good. I agree that the rest of sweet home cast was great/better than him. And yeah I chose sweet home bc what else is there to see that his acting really isn’t subpar? 😭 Love Alarm? Nevertheless? I can’t completely blame him, it’s not like his characters were written well in either of those.
I like the storyline so far. Just a little annoyed at the dancer girl. Her character seems to have no real substance except being obsessed with the ml. Hopefully the writer will change that. Also hopefully Do Hee’s fake cousin liking her doesn’t become a big deal either. I hate love triangles, but I hate love squares even more 😭 it’s so annoying bc it adds NOTHING to this already interesting plot. Sigh! ig if it gets bad I’ll just shut up and suffer for this unique + cute couple.
wow a pretty, powerful, and rich female lead ?!?! i can't believe it !! seriously, i don't think I've ever watched a drama with a fl like this before. it's vv interesting! plus the whole song kang demon plot.. wheww i like this drama so much already... and i also like that both their personalities are 'bad' idk.. usually the other one is 'nice' so, this is also interesting. i'm excited to see their character development given that both of them are 'mean' lol
I really like NamSoon! At first I was worried she was a little too overconfident (since she’s not invincible) but she’s proven herself to be intelligent and quick thinking. I don’t like the whole drug case undercover thing, but it does showcase that she is actually a good undercover fake cop lol. I just love how the other detectives keep calling her “Agent Kang”. She’s like a part of their team fr. She’s also really cute and so funny 😭 The way she leaves a trail of rude people with bruised ego wherever she goes is the best. And yet she has a good relationship with a lot of those people, she just grows on you 😂

I agree with this. Because this is just judging the drama based on the events happening in it. Some people just say it’s bad bc it’s not as good as Bong Soon, which isn’t true. And yeah I don’t think they need a large an organization to manage their superpowers like in Moving since it’s just their family, but I do think they should try to be more careful. I am also confused as to why the government hasn’t gotten involved lol + the police are so chill. Like they just don’t care at all 😂 Either way attention isn’t good for NamSoon she should really tone it down
