I really liked him in the beginning and felt bad that he was manipulated by her, but it became clear later that he is unhealthily obsessed with her, while being completely ignorant to the full situation yet always being overconfident thinking he knows her best. I was so mad when he made the documentary framed as if she was doing it all just for fun when these people had actually hurt her too... Her father literally tried to kill her and only didn't bc he needed more money... And they conveniently left that out?? And Sunghee WAS a bully... And Ahjin didnt even kill the grandma... A lot of her actions are unforgivable but Junseo really is the worst for painting her as evil for the sake of it and absolving himself of everything WHEN HE enabled all of it. When the ONE person actually evil just for fun, THE CEO, he didnt try to punish at all.

I completely agree with this, but aside from that jaeoh was his friend and he clearly knew to some extent that the ceo was also to blame and yet he just didnt try to punish him at all????? The part I hate the most about this show is that the ceo will continue killing people, and drugging, abusing and torturing his wives, and his reputation will remain pristine WHEN junseo could have released the footage if both him and ahjin were supposed to die.
why did junseo not at least have the footage of jae-oh released after he died? even in something like his own's friends death his mindset is still only focused on ahjin and what she did wrong... if he decided he was going to kill both of them, and punish ahjin, he should have at least done something to take revenge on the actual killer too... the ceo...
we deserve more of the physician and princess than situ ling..he only gets worse each episode..
and ofc the misunderstanding trope continues someone please make them talk to each other.. didnt ji bozai just say it's not hard to communicate? so what is he doing now??? i swear these two must enjoy torturing themselves.. even dragon can't stand it anymore ðŸ˜
It kinda makes sense that this drama does not make sense 😂 The story was not amazing or life changing but still an interesting watch! Love Park Eun Bin!
It was hard getting used to park sunghoon as hyunju, bc his role from the glory has been burned into my brain loll, i liked her a lot tho!
As expected of squid games; many deaths and betrayals, still I'm glad there were characters i could root, for. I'm not necessarily a fan of gihun, so i was counting on the other main characters to save me from his (rightfully) brooding and slightly dull character. The plot itself had me rolling my eyes at times, but it was fine overall. I think these new characters were solid tho! A good mix of despisable and likable.
- Yes the slime is the monster version of Yeongsu- Sangwon entered Yisu’s body so he’s the one controlling…
It was S2. She did it because she said Eunyu was a human and all humans are bad. She pushed Eunyu into a hole in the road and Hyunsu had to fly down and save her.
- Yes the slime is the monster version of Yeongsu- Sangwon entered Yisu’s body so he’s the one controlling…
I understand your point of view, and it makes sense! But I personally don’t think she’s a good person, but she’s not bad either. I can’t forgive her for trying to kill Eunyu and turning all those people into monsters when they never wanted to be one. But I also agree with most of the things you said. So that’s why I can’t call her good, but she is definitely not evil.
i totally agree with you i was hoping this season fix what s2 did but it was worse even the end of the story I…
Omg I forgot to mention that shitty ending. The whole time I was wondering if it was a dream because it felt so out of place and gave me no closure!! I still want to know what happens next…
What a whole lot of nothing in s2 & 3. Writer could’ve wrapped this up in 1 season why did we need 2 to see…
Did the writer have a vendetta against the og characters??? Why did they all have to die? I’m still mad over Jisu’s death and they just had to kill Yikyung too. I tried so hard to root for Eunyu but her screaming every five seconds without doing anything is infuriating. I can only tolerate her bc Go Minsi is a good actress. And Eunhyuk… Like what even is his character? I was so excited to see him then I learned he now has the personality of a wall with unexplained powers? Like what is he fast and immortal… Okay? Yeongsu too why did he become such a brat and why did they have to kill the woman from S1 who took care of him. This show is such a mess!!!!
What a whole lot of nothing in s2 & 3. Writer could’ve wrapped this up in 1 season why did we need 2 to see this hot mess unfold?? I really liked s1 but these two seasons were like a completely different show. Lots of unexplained storylines, useless deaths and too many characters that they don’t convince the viewer to care about?? I seriously can’t believe that I spent 15+ hours on this show to be filled with so much disappointment. I was hoping that s3 would redeem the mess that s2 was, but damn it was simply false hope. S3 was definitely a little better but it wasn’t good either.
I am at episode 7 now. Can I confirm that:- The slime is the monster version of Yeong-su after Yi-su converted…
- Yes the slime is the monster version of Yeongsu - Sangwon entered Yisu’s body so he’s the one controlling her actions. - Yisu is a very complex character. I don’t think you can label her as good/evil. Even though she’s physically a child, she’s still been in the world for one year so she’s very inexperienced and doesn’t fully understand the world. She’s very confused and can only see people as good/evil because of her lack of experience. Thus she may want to make people ‘good’ by turning them into monsters as she thinks all humans are ‘bad’. I think her perception of reality is just twisted, she’s not necessarily bad.
there's not even one character I like... realized ml is gonna be one of the not so smart ones in ep 2 so i'm gonna drop. in a mystery drama the protagonist should be a little bit smarter lol plus the other characters don't interest me even a little bit
Finally! I finished the drama. Overall, it was a good drama BUT, no drama can surpass A JOURNEY TO LOVE. Yup!…
I agree this is one my favourite wuxia just because of the relationship between Xiyun and Lanxi!! Since you recommended Journey to Love I think I might watch that next.
To answer some of your questions, I think the states were united under the rule of Huang Chao as the emperor.
I love Qiwu too and I kinda like that they kept her single. I understand your perspective but remember that Chunran is also politically smart and beautiful. She’s not my favorite character but I appreciated that she was vain, feminine and at the same time politically ambitious and smart. I think Xiyun said this but she is quite similar to Lanxi (I could see them being good friends). So I think she fits Huang Chao better than Qiwu. And also Qiwu would never leave her family to marry someone from another state. I am also sad that we don’t see Qiwu’s happy ending, she deserves it!
you can try Love Like the Galaxy for a historical. It's well written. Or Who Rules the World for a wuxia.
Who Rules The World is great! it's honestly my fav wuxia. Others I'd recommend are Word of Honor, The Starry Love, and Love Between Fairy and Devil (LBFAD honestly lost me at some parts but I stayed for the leads). Despite it being one of my favourite genres wuxia/historical c drams sometimes have the most headache-inducing and nonsensical plots. Also, don't trust MDL ratings too much, and look at reviews (non-spoiler ones if you prefer) to see if the drama has a plot worth watching (sadly sometimes the plots do get messy and they love to throw in amnesia and/or miscommunication). I finished some dramas purely out of wanting to see the end but in my opinion, they started well but then became the stupidest shows ever: Back from the Brink, The Legends, and Ancient Love Poetry.
Also, here are dramas that I think are above average but are highly praised that you can also check out: The Untamed and The Blood of Youth.
And ones with better cgi and very unique plots; The Legend of Shenli, Til the End of the Moon
and ofc the misunderstanding trope continues someone please make them talk to each other.. didnt ji bozai just say it's not hard to communicate? so what is he doing now??? i swear these two must enjoy torturing themselves.. even dragon can't stand it anymore ðŸ˜
