I’d say, the only good thing about this drama is Deng Wei’s acting : I had some doubts about his acting before…
When I started watching it I thought Qin Ke was the male lead bc he has so much chemistry with Chong Zi. And his personality balances her personality so well! What a waste of a good pair smh! On the other hand, Chong Zi and Yin Fan's relationship is so flat and disturbing.
You don’t like watch ongoing dramas ? Can be quite nice actually , then You can discuss with others here about…
Yes! Some dramas I’ll gladly watch ongoing but other are just pure torture. From this trailer alone I can tell that it’s going to be intense, so I’ll be thinking about the episode EVERYDAY until the next one airs for two months 😭 I learned my lesson with Alchemy of Souls. I have to watch historical dramas (that are naturally stressful) all at once to save myself from the additional stress of waiting lol.
I thought he knew Mu Deok was being controlled when she stabbed him. He kept calling her name and after a while…
I am not thinking from the audience’s perspective at all. I am thinking that if I were Cho Yeon or Dang Gu I would wonder why this vicious assassin who kills everyone that stands in their way would let me live. I would also wonder why she was so intent on killing Jin Utak.
Okay so she tricked them and is finally showing her true colours as Naksu. Then she kills Jin Utak the same guy who was a part of one of the most heinous schemes then leaves?!?! Isn’t that too suspicious to be just a random kill. Did no one really question why Jin Utak was the only one who died when Cho Yeon and Danggu were there. She could have easily killed them if she wanted to.
I don’t disagree with what you said about her manipulating them. Idk I think that for some of the smartest mages they only see what they want to see. Even Jin Hogyeong who goes to such lengths to bring back her daughter should’ve questioned why her husband died. Naksu just killed him for fun? Why? Assassins don’t just murder people randomly do they. And Park Jin knows that Naksu killed soul shifters but he didn’t use that knowledge at all.

Her saying that was probably not enough for him to realize she was being controlled, but he might have realized she was not doing it intentionally. What's not adding up to me is that Cho Yeon and Dang Gu fought Mu Deok and saw that she was SO intent on killing Cho Yeon's father. Was that not suspicious at all???
questions so I can decide if I should keep watching 1. Did Jaebeom kill Wonseok? 2. Does female lead continue being dumb throughout the drama? 3. How bad is the Chanmi, Sooheon and Soyeon love triangle? 4. Does Kook Jihyun keep being annoying? Actually do any of the female characters add anything to the plot atp smhhh
1. What happen to JU in the end again? I forgot. How did he survive? I mean MD stab him in the heart and I remember…
1. JU resurrected using the Ice stone inside of him. That's why everyone is scared of him because he is like a zombie/monster.
2. He wants to die because not only is it hard wielding the power of the ice stone (he is haunted by the monster things, if he uses the power Park Jin dies, everyone hates him etc) but he is still grieving/missing Mu Deok. He probably blames and hates himself for not being able to protect her and feels guilty for all the things she did.
3. Jin Mu was able to 'redeem himself' by using the Naksu and Crown Prince. After controlling Naksu and making her kill people Jin Mu faked searching for her and used it as an excuse to get back into everyone's good graces. He also manipulated the Prince and made him believe that he needed him to compete against Jang Uk. He probably did some other things too in the span of the three years.
Unpopular opinion: I didn’t like Crown Prince as much as most fans of the show. I did not like how he still…
I didn't like the crown prince but I liked his relationship with Mu Deok (to an extent) and Jang Uk. I knew they were trying so hard to tell us he would end up being a pain in the ass but I was still hopeful. that he would not be fooled by Jin Mu and become a half decent person. If only he wasn't so blinded by his ego he could've been such a badass character and he and Jang Uk could've been besties smh.
Yoon Jung is so pretty!!! She portrays the Naksu/Bu Yeon combo so well I sometimes forget they switched the actress (her voice makes it 10000x better). Also loving her straightforward and cheerful personality! Aside from all the annoying ass characters (literally everyone except Jang Uk, Park Jin, Maidservant Kim, and cute Songrim guy ) I am enjoying this so far.
Writers pls pls don't turn Seo Yul into an annoying and possessive second lead. I won't be able to bear it.
Dad from Sound of Magic reminds me of the Dad from Extracurricular who also stole all of the male lead’s money. Those deadbeat father types somehow manage to make me hate them more than the evil ones. Great article btw!
I felt him portraying his grieving in silence is much better. PCH has changed so much throughout the drama. He…
Exactly! I was so surprised to see the criticism that he received. And it didn’t help that the writers never addressed his mental health. After going through something like that he’d either be the most angry and vengeful person ever or just completely broken. I do miss Big Mouth PCH he was so cute and funny. Big Mouth Chango would cry hysterically if he lost Miho, but Big Mouse Chango would keep it all inside. People should accept that they’re not the same.
it's totally ridiculous how some ppl are saying that LJS was annoyed or something so he stopped acting properly…
I felt him portraying his grieving in silence is much better. PCH has changed so much throughout the drama. He became quieter and a lot more pensive. So him crying silently is much more fitting for the changes that were made to his personality. And it's a lot scarier too. He never smiles, and his voice is always flat. I think that is a lot worse than a 5 minute scene of bawling his eyes out then going back to his old self. It really shows how much everything that has happened to him has affected him. They took everything away from him and now he's empty inside and will never be the same again. In exchange he gets the power he wanted so badly in the beginning. A bittersweet ending indeed, and a good portrayal of the emotions PCH would be feeling from LJS.
I don’t know when I ever disagreed with that. And I’m sure I specified by saying these types of dramas. Please tell me the action/crime/thriller kdramas with more female characters than male, I’d love to watch. :)
Yeah I do want to know if there is going to be a female lead around NJH character’s age. Idc if it’s a love interest or not. In these types of dramas the older female main character is normally the villain. Also it’s one woman in a main cast of four so far…. I hope there’ll be more. I’ll watch either way I just hope to see more female main characters in these types of dramas.
