I enjoyed this drama mostly because of the good acting and chemistry between the leads. Also the remainder of the cast did a great job, but as far as the writing goes there was nothing original or different from past Kdramas. Also the hotel settings have been used over and over again with no glitch of anything different, so I am really hoping for new ideas or at least a reverting of the roles (rich female and poor male...yes, some dramas have pursued this path but not nearly as many as in the other way around!!). My rating is 7.
I enjoyed this drama and the original plot. It was well carried out and also some of the past stories were well inserted in the different episodes. What disappointed me was the ending as many aspects didn't make sense (for example, how could the female lead go back to her original job without wondering why she had left it in the first place?) and spoiled a little the quality of the whole drama for me. I will rate it with an 8 which would have been higher with a much better written ending.
I had kept away from saeguks for a long time as the new "fusion" versions are not my cup of tea. I tried to watch this one as the plot sounded interesting and I was immediately hooked. The story was very similar to the traditional saeguks (mainly about power struggles) so I wasn't disappointed and what made the drama special was the perfect cast and script. At first I was skeptical about the very young age of the leads but I was soon captured by their talent and how realistically they represented their characters. My favourite couple was the one of Shi Yeol and Hong Joo as their love story was fascinating and tormented. My rating is 8.5
Great drama about women power!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and I appreciated seeing Lee Bo Young again in such a perfectly fit role. Unfortunately so much needs to be done for women to be treated fairly in the working places and hopefully this drama can be inspiring to many of them. Wonderful acting by the cast all together. My rating is 9.
I normally keep away from sad dramas but I chose to watch this one because I knew and appreciated the leads in other dramas. Even if the story itself was beautiful, I found the plot to be slow and dragging. The frustrating parts for me were the frequent long never ending staring moments between the leads with no words being spoken. In any case the cast did a great job so overall the drama deserves a 7.5 from me.
Great law drama with the extra bonus of a really fun group of male friends. Enjoyed this immensely and Cho Seung Woo did an amazing job. It's a 9 for me.
This drama had parts I enjoyed and parts which I would have done without. Certainly the mixture between comedy and thriller is now becoming more and more frequent in K dramas and I can't say that I am happy about that, as the thriller part takes out all the relaxing aspect for me. And in the last two episodes it was as if all the angst was forgotten a little too quickly. The romance was cute and I also enjoyed the parts about the FL's family but all the craze about school results and mothers getting hysterical really bothered me. So all in all, I have mixed feelings about this drama and my rating is 7.5. The cast did a good job anyway.
Enjoyable romcom on the whole. I would have avoided the makjang/mistery parts but I understand that without them the plot would have probably been too plain. The setting of the agency was interesting and overall it was a pleasant and relaxing watch for me. My rating is 7.5
This was a realistic drama which described how difficult relationships can be in the long term. I appreciated the way they described the divorce cases and how the leads (and the other lawyers in the law firm) learned to understand more about themselves as they handled the different cases. I also thought the very few comedy parts were entertaining. As far as the story between the OTP went, yes it was a disappointment because the writers made it a little too realistic for my liking. I personally choose to watch fiction to entertain myself and dream of a perfect world (which I know doesn't exist in reality) so the way it ended left me very bitter although it made perfect sense. My rating is 7, mostly because all the cast did a really good job.
I enjoyed this drama although not as much as many viewers here. Indeed the setting was beautiful and peaceful and the plot was relaxing and with lots of positive vibes concerning friendship, mutual support, love and kindness. I appreciated the way the new generations interacted so well with the older generations in that village and I would have certainly wanted to spend some time there to unwind like most of the characters in this drama. However, I found it too slow paced for my liking and in many episodes I struggled to keep my eyes open. Also too much time was focused on side stories which didn't interest me much, so I will rate it with a 7.5.
I had skipped this when it aired but I came back to it after reading some positive reviews and I was happy I did. I actually enjoyed this easy going story and I found that the reality show setting was quite original as it gave an idea of how everything there is staged and not natural. As many have written, I was swept away by the secondary couple as it was really the case of how opposites can attract. However I also liked how the romance developed between the main couple who started out as close friends. Overall a very pleasant watch, my rating is 8.
I generally try to keep away from makjang dramas but within a year I manage to watch one or two because of the good cast. This one definitely belongs to the makjang category but luckily the writers kept it light and bearable until the end. I enjoyed the story and the acting also the way they didn't push too much on the fake/real cousin issue but managed to close the story in a peaceful and acceptable manner. This is not a drama that I would rewatch or particularly recommend but it deserves a 7.5. (which is my average rating for most of the Kdramas of 2022, not a particularly outstanding year for my taste).
Not a bad drama overall. Yes the ending was not as powerful as the main part of the story, but it made sense as it all started with a fantasy element. The whole cast was good and SJK's performance didn't disappoint but I was expecting fireworks as I experienced with Vincenzo and this was not the case. I understand that it's difficult to choose original projects in the long run but I hope his next project will go back to that extraordinary level. I will rate this drama with a 7.5
Another fun drama with NGM. I enjoyed it although I preferred Chief Kim which was more or less of the same genre. I watched it in between other currently airing dramas and it was perfect as a filler. My rating is 7.
Finally a huge, great and unexpected cliffhanger in Episode 10!!! This year's Korean dramas have been rather flat for me, and this one was following the same route up to now. I can finally say that I was surprised by this plot twist.
I am enjoying Reborn Rich and honestly I am not getting any Vincenzo vibes at all (Mafia connections and Italian attitudes are nowhere to be seen) besides the fact that he manages to beat the powerful with SJK's character's wit and talent as always in his dramas.
