This was an enjoyable lighthearted comedy which was pleasant to watch. There were moments that I didn't particularly appreciate in particular for what concerned the female lead whose attitude was a overly silly sometimes but in this type of comedy I suppose it was acceptable. I really liked some of the side characters here like Yeo Reum, Hoon Dong, Hyun Hee and also the grandmother (whom I loved in Coffee Prince) as they all contributed in making this rom-com enjoyable. I would not rewatch this as it didn't touch my feelings in any way, but I am glad I watched it mostly for Yun Woo Jin who was a good main lead and whom I expect to see in more challenging dramas soon.

I initially had decided not to watch this drama as I was expecting it to have too much slapstick type of comedy. However I am really thankful for all the positive reviews that I read and that made me want to watch it as it was a lovely surprise for me. Although there were moments in which situations were a little bizarre, I immediately loved both the main characters as they were totally opposite to each other and the credit goes to both Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra for representing such wonderful personalities. On the whole I really enjoyed this story which seemed lighthearted but had some very revealing moments especially for what concerned the feelings of the main leads. The OST here was also absolutely brilliant. Even though this drama is nothing too complicated or original I consider it to be the best drama of 2014 so far because it was perfect in many ways.

This was not bad but I need to watch it again with understandable subtitles as the ones available at the moment did not allow me to understand the plot too well. In any case I was expecting a little more out of this movie besides the very explicit scenes. I had never seen the leading actress before and she is truly beautiful.

Review Empress Ki
I totally agree with everything that you wrote and I will probably rewatch it soon too. I am still listening to many of its OSTs too as they are so beautiful.
On Hotel King Aug 19, 2014
Title Hotel King
I thought the most original feature of this drama was the hotel setting (infact another drama is soon following with the same type of setting) and found the plot quite intriguing for the first half. However like many others have noted, the second half became somewhat repetitive and draggy but I wanted to see how the story developed anyway. I really liked some of the characters that were on the side lines like all the personnel of the hotel, together with Woo Hyun and my favourite of all Loman Lee. As far as the main leads go, I was never too fond of Lee Dong Wook but he performed really well in this drama and my opinion on him has improved greatly, whereas I didn't particularly appreciate the character played by Lee Da Hae although she performed well too. The last episode was particularly draggy as I felt the story really had ended at episode 31. In any case thumbs up because it was somehow different from other dramas so far.

I have to say that this drama started out really slow and the story for me didn't pick up until about the 7th/8th episode. However after that I was very involved in the progress that all the three brothers made in getting to know about their past and about each other and by the end I was totally conquered by the story. I found it very realistic and harsh in many parts but so beautiful in others as many kinds of different feelings were shown here in a very natural way. Yes the ending was somehow bitter but something like that was to be expected in that kind of world. I really enjoyed some of the OSTs here which were beautiful and everyone's acting was top notch. On the whole I found it a good drama.

This film is good but not as good as the original drama in my opinion. It just seemed like another episode of…
sorry folks I watched it two years ago and I really can't remember where I found it. I apologize for not being able to be of any help.

All these three dramas are amongst my top favourites and although I admit that the development of the story is somewhat slow, IMO the cast, the acting, the Osts and everything else made up for it and made these dramas truly beautiful. As far as I am concerned I would classify as really slow most of the family dramas of over 50 episodes that I have watched so far as events generally take a long time to develop probably because of the length of the dramas themselves.

This list is perfect!!! All my favourites of 2013 are in here even though they are in a different order compared to how I would have rated them. The only drama I haven't seen yet is King's Daughter and as it is in this list I will keep it in mind for future watching.
On You're All Surrounded Jul 18, 2014
I have to say this was a pleasant lighthearted watch. Even though the story took a more serious turn towards the end, I always appreciated the good team work feeling that came through. Personally I was expecting a much deeper plot for this awesome cast but it was fun to watch them in this kind of setting anyway and I hope to see them all in more serious dramas soon. I can't rate this more than 7.5 however I recommend it whenever the need to unwind occurs.

As many others have written, this drama started with a great potential. I found the story intriguing at first and was curious to know how it was going to develop. I have to say that it didn't really keep up to its promises especially for what concerns the North/South Korea issue (I found K2H much more convincing on that subject) and the story went a little downhill on the second half. The romance part didn't involve me at all for both couples and I found the second couple more convincing from that point of view. In any case the acting here was superb, I was particularly impressed by Lee Jong Suk's character and also Park Hae Jin and Kang So Ra were very good. The OST was beautiful too which is why on the whole I rated this drama with an 8.
On Autumn in My Heart Jul 2, 2014
This is the oldest Korean drama that I have watched so far and I could really feel the vintage air it had. I have to say that even if it was released in the year 2000 to me it seemed more like the story took place in the 70ies according to how people were dressed and the whole atmosphere. It was also interesting for me to see how in this drama the style of acting and the story itself was extremely dramatic and exaggerated which is quite typical of Korean dramas and at the time it was even more so.
The characters in the story cried for most of the time. It was a beautiful but sad love story and I was happy to see an extremely young, handsome and talented Song Seung Hun and a beautiful and talented Song Hye Kyo. I have to mention the second male lead whose character and devotion in the story were amazing. In any case it was a good and instructive watch for me.

Title Repentance
Although I totally admit that this drama was made very well and the acting was good I personally couldn't get involved in all the technicalities involving the legal cases and found that these were given too much importance. I personally started watching this because I was interested in the personal development of the character of Kim Seok Joo and not because I wanted to see how legal cases were solved by one party or the other.

I was really expecting something totally different which is why my evaluation mark is so low. I personally appreciated Kim Myung Min's characters much more in Beethoven Virus (where he was absolutely excellent!!) and King of Dramas, and I will be looking forward to more interesting projects in the future.
My favourite characters here were his best friend Sang Tae and the intern Ji Yoon although I will never understand why they casted Park Min Young (whom I like) for a role that could have been played by any not as well known actress.
