I only recently discovered So Ji Sub, and this happened by chance when watching What happened in Bali. I have to say that I was immediately struck by his handsomeness and his great acting ability so I decided to watch more of his dramas and I have watched Ghost and Cain and Abel so far and he was excellent in both however especially in the latter I thought his acting was really amazing. I now plan to watch Sorry I Love you and await his new drama of this year (hoping the Gong sisters won't make a mess of it).

ciao, grazie per la tua richiesta di amicizia! ;0)
I just finished this drama and thoroughly enjoyed it although the plot is quite dramatic with a lot of crude medical scenes and quite a lot of violence too. In any case I agree with Wonton here below as I thought the acting in this drama was brilliant, most of all that of the two brothers but also the remainder of the cast was top notch. This is definitely not a relaxing watch but a drama that will touch the heart for the strong feelings of hate/vegeance and love involved.
thanks for this article as I am also watching this drama and enjoying it mostly for the character of Tae Sang. I had never seen Song Seung Heun in a drama before and I am very impressed with his acting and cheering for him all the way...however I also agree with Jeanessi that the female character of Mi Do is annoying as she seems quite cold and distant and not too involved. I had seen Shin Sae Kyung in A Tree with Deep roots and liked her acting there, but I am not too impressed with her performance here and I hope her acting/character will improve as the drama unfolds.
I really enjoyed this drama. Only during the first episodes I wasn't too involved and was a little bit bothered by the complaining of the lead actress, however as the drama progressed the story became interesting and convincing. I appreciated the setting in the vineyards very, very much and I thought Oh Man Suk was particularly good here. I recommend this drama for a pleasant and heartwarming watch.
I reached Ep 5 of this and I agree with this article concerning the fact that the first episodes are not particularly intriguing although they help to introduce the story. I imagine this will be a long saga a little bit like Ojakgyo Brothers that I dropped at Ep. 43 because it had too many hysterical and overbearing scenes for my liking. I will carry on watching this for a while, even though I am not too fond of these long and tangled dramas, as I want to understand how the story develops for the two main leads.
He is definitely one of my favourite actors and I thought his performances in Innocent Man and A Werewolf Boy were absolutely superb! (He was also very good in SKKS). I am now hoping that he will star in a new drama before he goes to military service.

I am watching this in the evening and if I enjoy it I watch 3 episodes at a time otherwise 2. So this means that I should finish it by about the middle of next week approximately. Next one in line will be Cain and Abel.

wow, what a great coincidence...we can comment it together then. I am quite enjoying it especially for the different setting in the countryside and because I am expecting quite a lot of contrasts between the two main leads...I think the male main lead will become more interesting as the story unfolds.
I was also very shocked when I first started watching Korean dramas about the fact that they were so explicit with toilet scenes. The first drama I watched was Coffee Prince and besides the toilet scenes there was also a lot of talking with mouthfulls and spitting what they were eating which shocked me too...however after having watched many more Kdramas, I am now used to all this. Whereas I personally don't find these scenes funny or attractive I have come to accept that they are part of their entertainment clichès and don't take much notice of them.
Even though mystery/detective dramas are not my favourite genre, this one really caught my attention and I enjoyed it. So Ji Sub was very good here and I also appreciated the role of Mad Cow, Hyuk Joo, very much indeed. I liked it mostly because it was full of twists and turns and kept the viewer interested for all the 20 episodes. I enjoyed it particularly because it all revolved around one case and not separate cases like in most Japanese detective dramas.

Hi, I really don't know if you would enjoy Ending Planner or not as it is not a really intense drama but I find it well acted. Yamapi is actually quite good in this drama and I liked the way they treated such a delicate subject as death. You might enjoy it so I would give it a try. I will certainly watch Mother maybe a little bit later as I am watching Last Cinderella and Saikou no Rikon which are currently being shown in Japan.
I just finished this awesome drama and understood why it had the highest rating of the season in Japan. It is mostly a story about family ties and it is depicted in the typical delicate and poetic way that the Japanese have of dealing with feelings and people. The main actor Masaaki is absolutely brilliant and I really think he draws full attention throughout the whole drama. However all the cast is very good and really manages to transmit a warm family feeling that reaches the viewer. I liked the fact that the setting was in a lovely village by the sea where I would have also wanted to live. I heartly recommend this.
