On Alice in Borderland Season 3 Sep 26, 2025
The ending actually made sense because it stayed true to its theme of the meaning of life and what living truly means.

That said, there are some aspects that S03 definitely could improve on (mainly tightening the plot and the writing), but it overall did well for a third season that improvised and did not have a source material to go with (since the manga was already completely adapted until S02).
On Gannibal Season 2 Aug 11, 2024
Since we're all grasping for straws about Gannibal 2 updates, here's a recent one that I got from HPriest's tweet: https://x.com/hpriestsubs/status/1799755692582289592

It says that filming is done by last June, according to Yoshioka Riho (Agawa Yuki, Daigo's wife), but the release date isn't decided yet. I do hope it can be released this year, though, we're all waiting for it!

Title Queen of Tears Spoiler
Oh, I LIKE this. I'm mildly invested already in our lead's story, as well as their background (not so much in the other plot lines yet, though). It reminds me of Go Back Couple, where we have our leads exhausted of their married life, though in this case, one of them clearly still has feelings for another (while the other - looking at you here, Hyunwoo - will rediscover his love for Haein again).

One thing's for sure - both leads are flawed, and it's done a good job so far of making us swing from sympathizing with Hyunwoo in episode 1 to Haein in episode 2. That's the good part about framing the episodes from each of their POV. I'm one of the few who are happy that we went with the she's-really-sick route lol, and I'm ready for the angst that this will give us. I just hope for a happy ending, in one way or another.

I can't wait to see how things will unfold in the next few episodes!

many things reminds me of Tao tsuchiya's jdrama Involvement in a household affairs
Wow, a jdrama fan, hi there! :D same here, I can see the similarities. Both have one of our main leads as coming from a poor household then marrying into the other lead's rich one. Then we get the struggles. I appreciate how we see different marriage dynamics though, in Yangotonaki Ichizoku (Tao's drama), Sato and Kenta are both in a loving, trusting relationship, while in Queen of Tears, Hyunwoo and Haein have a marriage that's falling apart.

Honestly, I'm excited to see what happened in Hyunwoo and Haein's marriage and how they'd get back to fixing the matter coz they looked so, so happy back then :(

they really said, "let's put three hot people as the main trio of this drama"🔥🔥

I'm excited to see the Mukai-Toma-Tao synergy onscreen!

No problem! I'm thankful to have a very peaceful discussion with you and other fans here btw, it's nice to see us all pumped up for the drama haha. Based on the recent news, I think they're bound to release it on June :( it's a loooong ways ahead but at least we have a target date haha.

Thanks for linking the IG account, I'll go check it out! :)

Found info on twitter about KTL's overseas filming, and from Yoona's stylist's IG, it seemed that the team will have around 3 weeks of overseas filming (not including Junho's recent trip to London) so they really seemed to go all out on the budget!🤯I reaaaally hope KTL will be successful in return haha fingers crossed!

I hope you enjoy it! :) I haven't finished the whole thing yet and it has its flaws but the performances are good. Yoona's surprised me here, she's improved from her performance in her previous dramas. She's also had good comedic timing onscreen and offscreen so since KTL's a romcom, I have no doubt she'll fit the genre. (Also, may I ask which instagram page this is? Imma give it a follow hehe)

Yoona and Junho started at roughly the same time in the industry as idols, and their groups both shone during their prime. However, I guess we can attribute this to the following factors: Yoona has more reach for years now since Girls Generation is one of the top girl groups in the KPOP scene, she's a brand ambassador/endorser for many brands since way back, and she has a big Chinese fanbase. We can say that she's one of Korea's darlings and It Girls ever since :) but Junho's steadily gaining recognition in recent years, especially with his success in The Red Sleeve! I think it's long overdue, but at least he's getting that well-deserved success now😊
On King the Land Jan 10, 2023
Currently going insane at how we're so near yet so far to King The Land's (rumored-but-not-yet-confirmed) airing date. Tbh, I was very apprehensive of the plot summary since it seems basic, but based on how Yoona and Junho act about this, and the more I think about it, there's still a lot of plot threads that we don't know so I'm holding my breath and waiting for other details. It seems like this will be a charming surprise, and hopefully it will be one.

I can't wait to see Yoona and Junho in this! They already proved their skills (yes, even Yoona - watch Big Mouth to see her big, big improvement) and their chemistry (hellooooo Señorita and Love Never Felt So Good stages?), so I'm excited to see what they'll bring to the table. Looking forward to their promos, too, hopefully there will be lots! Let's meet soon, Guwon and Sarang!🥰

I'm glad!! Haha I can't stop replaying that performance when that was first released, it was so sensual and they both did well. You're most welcome btw! The dance happened around 3 months before the drama announcement, so I guess drama producers saw both in their performance and scrambled to offer them scripts😂 But I remember Junho saying in one guesting (I think it was with Yoo Jaesuk as the emcee?) that he received around a hundred scripts after The Red Sleeve, but picked this one. That piqued my interest even more coz he must've seen something in King The Land's script to choose it over many others.

Same thing with Yoona, her recent drama was a heavy one, so both Yoona and Junho fans need to heal their hearts with this one😁 and hopefully it does! I feel like angst is on the horizon with Guwon's character description, but hopefully it does not dominate the whole storyline. I hope and believe this drama will be a good move for both of them. They proved themselves as actors already so time to have fun with a romcom script hehe. The atmosphere of the filming set seems to be so nice, too, based on Yoona's comments and how both her and Junho's team have become friends haha, it's cute!

Is it just me, or is there anyone else who thinks the recent "Love never felt so good" kinda sat better than Señorita??…
Hmm probably because there was more interaction between Yoong and Junho? :) in a sense that they both look into the other's eyes more (as opposed to Yoona not meeting Junho's eyes often in Señorita), or give even better facial expressions. It just felt more natural, and the dance was fun.

After filming for a few months beforehand, I guess both became even more comfortable with each other and we can see that reflected in the dance.

You're most welcome! Feel free to share what you think about their performances. I'm feeling a bit apprehensive of the plot but even cliche romcom plots work with the right charm and writing. Hopefully King The Land is more of the charmingly-cliche type than the cringey one.

I have faith in Yoona and Junho (and their chemistry), at least :)

She's acted recently in Big Mouth with Lee Jongsuk, and has other upcoming projects, too. If you want to have a peek into their chemistry, I recommend watching their two collaboration stages for MBC Gayo Daejun 2021 and 2022 - dancing to Señorita (hot hot) and Love Never Felt so Good (cute and fresh vibes) respectively.

I hate Endings that leave just so many questions I also hate the it was all a dream trope so yeah I kind of hated…
Gotta agree at the other reply by kellzz, it wasn't a dream at all. They truly went to purgatory - it's what the Borderlands symbolize. When they die fighting in the games, they do die in real life: look at the names mentioned in the last episode, like Karube and Chouta's.

This pairing was unexpected but it's a welcome one!! I've always wanted to see Dew and Prim act together as leads so this is a win for me as well haha. After acting in a mystery/suspense drama (Homeschool) together, they'll now tackle the romance/drama genre and I'm all for it!♥

From being a side couple in F4 Thailand to being THE main leads of this series. Win and Prim, the power that you both have! This genre is Prim's territory so she'll no doubt do great in this one, and Win as well, would slay his role here. I can't wait to see Fa and Ar Jin!

Also, sending a load of congratulations to Prim for finally getting to be the lead character after lots of supporting roles! You deserve it bb!♥

Wtf just happened in the last episode... MYGOD THAT WAS A WILD RIDE! I didn't expect that but for someone who's in for a shot of twisted darkness, the last episode delivers - the whole drama did. Honestly would love to see more but these 7 episodes were enjoyable nonetheless!
