I've watched the first two episodes AND I LOVE IT TO BITS. The pilot episode has a very refreshing vibe which continued with the second episode (and I'm guessing and hoping it will stay that way!)
It's very frank - in that it dealt with the subject head-on while letting the characters speak. As someone who's not an aroace and was just starting to learn about the community, I think it did a good job of introducing the specifics to us. It's doing a good job so far of being both informative and entertaining (and I like both characters so that's a big plus!). Looking forward to the next episodes🥰
You are in for a surprise, I promise ;)I’ve been obsessed with this drama for the past 3 weeks. The details…
HAHA I actually visited Rihito's MDL page again before this and saw your comment about him xD see you then on his other works when I get to it haha!
(Also, just sharing but I watched him only in Colorful Love aside from this, and THE scene of his that first got me is when he's crying after talking with Yuutan in E02? or E03. HIS EYES DEYM. Anyways, what's your fave performance of his so far?)
Hehe thank you! And yeah, I scrolled through the comments section earlier and saw a lot of your comments, some under the spoilers tag (hmm looks familiar🤣), so it's okay haha! Got it, Iwon't read the manga yet 😄
I agree. I think chiaki definitely knows her from before, his little clue during the drinking scene where he says…
True!! There's definitely a "past" in here, and it has something to do with Shinobu. Her surname, Watanuki, is one clue since Chiaki started acting weird when he saw the sign at their house. That's another clue too! The mangaka he loved but disappeared could be a link.... man, I love piecing pieces together haha looking forward to the other clues we'll have in the next episodes!
Just finished watching E01 and I'm gonna stick around haha I'm very intrigued by what I saw. I think they're setting up a twist, maybe I'll read the manga to find out (but I also kinda don't want to so I'll go in the following episodes without knowing anything prior haha)
There are some clues they dropped right from E01. The rain for instance , and the shoes. The manga that Shinobu dug up from the box in the first few minutes had a line which said, "I won't follow the rabbit." - I don't know if this is a clue but my mind took it to meaning not following in the delusion or fabricated illusion... illusion of dreams? Of an affair? Hmm. Maybe this is just me digging up meanings from it haha.
You are in for a surprise, I promise ;)I’ve been obsessed with this drama for the past 3 weeks. The details…
HAHA that's okay! xD I'm now trying to practice having low expectations on the dramas I watch just so they could surprise me later on (and if they don't, at least I wasn't expecting a lot)
And speaking of, Shijukara surprised me in a good way! It's quirky but has that underlying suspense. I feel like the vibes remind me of another drama but I can't pinpoint which one yet. Also, I must say idk what's going on inside the head of Rihito's character, and I'm staying here to find out haha.
Speaking of him, I loooove his acting in E01. I've noticed his really good eye acting since Colorful Love and he made full use of it right from E01. Looking forward to seeing more!😁
I'm really reeaaaally curious about this because of the good things I hear about it. Not to mention that Rihito's part of the cast, and he's one of the young actors I'm watching out for since the past year, kid's got talent! I'm not too into infidelity series but like what the rest said, there's more to it than it seems aand it feels dark so I'm giving this a go :)
You asked for spoilers? :D here you go!---- SPOILERS START ----It is a very bittersweet ending, but a happy one…
Haha I can understand! Kase is a strong pillar of support and he's infinitely kind. Not to say Daiki isn't though, guy's very kind and supportive with all his rough edges :)
Well, I guess he didn't exactly murder Shiori since her fall was accidental, but he's definitely involved in it.…
Sorry for the late reply! But Ikr? I hope producer Arai hears us haha. It will be nice to see them in a setting that is less suspense and more on just them enjoying their normal lives🥺
This makes me realize that we're rooting for them so much that seeing the characters happy makes us happy as well heeee
It's Koisenu Futari D-Day!!!🥳 It's NHK so I have high hopes for their treatment of the subject matter. I'm glad Issei's here. Hopefully the script will be good too. Can't wait for the first episode later!
Is it an happy ending? Do the main leads end up together? Thank you very much!
You asked for spoilers? :D here you go!
---- SPOILERS START ---- It is a very bittersweet ending, but a happy one for our main leads. Yep, Rio and Daiki end up together, but not without the sacrifice of one person.
Well, I guess he didn't exactly murder Shiori since her fall was accidental, but he's definitely involved in it.…
Same! It's like Daiki - who lived honestly and straightly all his life - will now shoulder a big secret. He'll have his own black box to keep and he'll do it for his beloved people.
I'd also like an SP haha hopefully a lighthearted one this time. Kase's escapades looking for sweets shops, Rio, Daiki, and Yuu's home dinners, Kuwata and Daiki solving cases... that would be nice haha.
OOOOH DAMN. I'm currently in a dark movies/series mode - and I wanted to binge on Iura Arata's works - so I wanted…
Ahh yes, it's the one where you need to become a member first, am i right? It's ok, at least I know that there's one in Avistaz, although I can't access it yet hehe.
Haha Saiai actually is the reason for me searching Iura Arata's filmography tbh! I wanted to see more of his acting😁 and now that you mentioned it, I'm glad he has a lot of dark movies/dramas! Aww, now that's the hard part - finding his (indie) movies. I'm happy, too that he's in a lot of TV dramas recently. Looking forward to his next drama😁
And it's alright, I was actually planning to ask you for some recommendations, too so you're one step ahead of me😂 thank you, will check these out!
This movie is called Light (Hikari) because it's dark as fuckkk. seriously, like all the most horrible and triggering…
OOOOH DAMN. I'm currently in a dark movies/series mode - and I wanted to binge on Iura Arata's works - so I wanted to watch this but I think this will be very heavy. Nonetheless, may I ask where you watched it?
Thanks for writing this review! Couldn't of said it any better, I also loved Saiai and one of my favorite shows…
You're welcome! ^^ as early as the 2nd episode I said to myself that I'll definitely write a review for the series and I immediately got to it after completing the 10 episodes. Same though, I watched some episodes this year but I can confidently say that Saiai is my favorite haha.
Tried rewatching the 1st episode after seeing the last one and it's still as good as the first time I did! Can't wait for you to rewatch it as well and enjoy the ride all over again! :)

You have a point, it's kinda like WOWOW hmmm

And it's only 30-minutes per episode, too. I'll get back to you when I watch it later :)

After Saiai we'll now scream about Koisenu Futari, I guess?🤣
This makes me realize that we're rooting for them so much that seeing the characters happy makes us happy as well heeee
He's a big support system for Rio, after all!
