props to the writers for the killers motive, because although it was very messed up, i will have to admit that…
also cried over how seonwoo basically sacrificed himself in order to catch the real culprit, he made to sure to get the recording in his last moments of life. i feel so bad for him, especially because he didn’t even find out what happened to his mother. :((
props to the writers for the killers motive, because although it was very messed up, i will have to admit that it was pretty creative. i like how they did a play on the “life flashing before your eyes” saying. also i like how this drama shows how when you give people power, some use it for good and others use it for bad. overall an interesting take on humanity in general
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD I’m suspecting the shaman more now. In this episode he said something about “that’s general MacArthur’s”. Maybe macarthur is basically the shamans split personality, and he is now able to activate it through the psychic powers he gained the night of the meteor shower (remember he said he drank a lot that night and didn’t know how he ended up at gwangsiks farm). It’s also very suspicious how the shaman often forgets things and has hard time remembering what he did on certain days. Either the blackouts are happening because the shaman has DID, or simply because he drinks a lot or takes a special drug that causes him to become drowsy (maybe activating the MacArthur personality?). Another thing I noticed is Seonwoo hid the knife as soon as he saw the shaman, and since those two live together, it makes sense that the knife was in seonwoos possession, he probably found it by chance. SeonWoo wanted the shaman to leave the workshop so he could tell Yebun about the shamans secret. The day Assemblyman Cha died, the shaman got to the workshop at 8, it looked like he was wobbling and drunk. Then the shamans memory went black, as if he was sleeping, and then we saw him waking up at 9:01pm. It could be entirely possible that the blackout was in fact the shaman killing Cha and then coming back to the workshop and falling asleep right before SeonWoo arrived.
Another one of my theories is that SeonWoo is the third psychic. The shaman doesn’t need to be the third psychic if he has DID. He simply kills people whenever his split personality takes over, which is causing the blackouts. Seonwoo is the third psychic, and maybe his power is that he can see memories, but only when someone ELSE touches HIM. so rather than him touching the people, the person has to touch him and that allows him to read their memories. That may explain the scene in front of the bathroom where the shaman grabbed seonwoo, and there was this ominous moment between them.
I also have suspicions against the new detective on the serial murder case, because he is a new face but we see him quite often. But right now my main suspicions lie on the shaman, especially because in recent episodes they are trying very hard to push the “always scared and weak” narrative on the shaman, like they’re purposely trying to make us believe it can’t be him….
Two points where the FL didn't do what she should have done:1. Read the memory of Gwang Sik when he was still…
i was so mad about number 1, like bro was literally stabbed in his chest of course it’s gonna be hard for him to get words out, just read his butt girl!!!!
