yikesss they should’ve picked an older actress to play yi seul, she’s so young here and they’re putting her in a romantic relationship with byungyeol who’s 9 years her senior…
i love how this drama tells the story of the iconic song of the same name, it really embodies the pain and longing of the song. Loved the scene where the song triggered FL's senses and brought the couples memories back to her, it was so powerful and painful.
i personally liked how the plot progressed in this one more than 20th century girl, even though both had fairly similar plots. but the ending for this one compared to 20th century girl was definitely not as well-developed
didn't under why they chose that ending at first, but I understood everything when ML opened the photo album. really beautiful way to show the amount of love that was floating between those two, and how much unspoken love FL was holding for ML unbeknownst to everyone. they saved each other
i personally liked the slow plot, it was really lovely, felt like i was living day-to-day in 2003 with these girls, and I was still in my mother's womb when this movie came out so this was quite an amazing experience. i think this is a really nice movie to watch while painting or while watching the rain. really beautiful
