This is another reason this drama is nonsensical.

I think this is an early episode before ep. 16. The relationship between Chen Ji and the crown prince was news in the palace by ep. 16. She was already pregnant and they were getting along in that photo. Probably episodes 12-14.

This is slow torture. This is not entertainment at all!

So true l! Only Prince Zhou is hoping to pick her up as leftovers which is probably why he follows her around waiting for an opportunity to play savior. But, when she his desperately screaming for him he is conveniently not around.

They took the characters least likely to turn evil and made them evil and made the evil ones compassionate. It’s weird this late in the drama to flip the script. I’m hoping it’s a huge show.

Six episodes released already. We will see where it goes.

Her character has no common sense. Her goal was to marry well for her mother, then, switched to revenge and on to protecting the man who turned her mother and family house into fire wood. She already murdered his cousin. She should stop there.

King Han and his wife, Chumu’s sister, are funny especially in ep. 36
when she searched his jiggly body for scars from the war to find nothing and seeing him proudly state Chumu was minced protecting him!

I wouldn’t be surprised if his new wife kills him or kills is sex drive with a drug. She is not easy to deal with coming from the Lu family. She didn’t even try to fake virginity knowing how cruel he his. That girl has nothing left to lose!

I enjoy seeing them without side dishes with their meal. That alone will kill a noble! Lol

I’m looking forward to the ending where the main couple ride off into the sunset. I suspect this is one of those dramas where they find true happiness in the last episode. Right now, the writers give hope of a reunion in one episode drag it away later! It’s frustrating at 32/55 episodes into the drama.

This is one of my most anticipated dramas for both the storyline and the bromance.

You statement supports my point that he is arrogant and domineering. You wrote:

He knows Chumu and Fu Rou are lovers. But, he will steal and threaten her to force her to stay with him all because a prince can snatch away anyone below their social class, can rape, murder that person (Like King Liang sexually assaulting and beating to death palace maids) and no one can get justice. He’s palace trash, helpful at times, but, trash none the less.

King Zhou is like all the other males in that royal family, arrogant and domineering! They only want what they want without regards for the wishes of the women they go after. King Liang is the worst. He’s a lecher who will harm a woman without regards to social status or if she is married.

They usually update 2 episodes a day when they start.

Mango TV is notorious for adding subs months after a drama airs. Smh
