It’s worth watching. Lots of chemistry like they are truly related. It’s a slow burn. But, they drop 3 episodes every day. So, this will quickly complete.

In most of the drama King Zhou has more screen time with Fu Rou than Shen Mu has with her. How many times can he wait behind a corner, then, jump out to block the conversation between the couple? Now, his mother is on the attack against Fu Rou. It’s tiring.

It’s a web toon drama like all the others. Nothing remarkable. But, easy and fast to watch. The original 18 tiny episodes are collated into 3 full episodes on YouTube. 7.0/10

I agree. Streaming dramas became popular because of the long waits for TV slots. Then, they realized they can create apps and charge for VIP memberships while streaming through the app. Money is the impetus to find new ways to air dramas.

This needs more attention. This is a hidden gem with a trifecta of good acting, a great script, and the least amount of fillers coming together like a blessing. I’m not a big fan of murder mysteries, but, I’m savoring every minute of this.

She did well after this drama showing she is truly talented.
Those old ladies hold a grudge and probably dropped it before the end. I felt very sympathetic for her character in the end.

I didn’t mean to imply editing is slow or done late. Re-editing a completed drama that was in storage when it is now affected by new rules and new censorship is a pain all around.

Also, capping the episodes was not law. It was a strong suggestion to get more dramas on the air since many dramas were waiting 3 -4 years to get a TV time. slot

I think a man of royal blood can push skinship more than others due to status and being in a position of power that is attractive to everyone. There are many cases where kings “graced” a servant or dancing girl with maximum skinship and they become a concubine. A poor girl can go from rags to riches overnight, literally! Historically, some emperors had hundreds of wives. So, the romantic affection in the drama is not unusual even if custom frowns upon it.

It’s still very popular and the female lead is trending in the top 10 of weekly popularity charts. I think most people like me grind their teeth during each episode waiting to see the main leads in a romantic scene.

Many of these dramas were made several years before they aired. They used to have 50+ episodes as a common thing. Rules/practices changed in China in 2020 to reduce the total episodes. So, the completed dramas were cut. Crew and staff already moved on years ago to other projects. They could not reshoot scenes. So, lots of editing was done leaving the out key scenes, having weak or abrupt transitions and just leaving it up to the viewer to figure it out.

This is a classic I watched many years ago. It was very funny with serious moments.

The sets made the poster look like a Spring Festival! Too dark and depressing. The acting was the best part. I started watching only for the leads. The plot was too twisted. It was mostly predictable for me. But, science fiction is my favorite genre. So, the rushed ending was mostly obvious. It’s still entertaining. 8/10

It’s not to scary. But, there is a lot of blood and gore during the murder.

I love the acting of both Lee Min Ki and Nana. But, the ratings and comments are so bad that I’m scared to watch.

Dropped at episode 3. Too silly. Low level palace humor and toilet jokes from the start.

That was hard to watch. But, baby brother Sheng was dedicated to taking revenge and exposing the killers for his love’s sake. I feel sorry for the parents. They lost their eldest and youngest children the same year

This one of the few dramas where I don’t mind a lot of episodes because the action and sweet romances were good! The OST made me tear up and the chemistry between several actors was great! 8.5/10

She was living a lost fantasy of power, wealth and glory as if she didn’t know all the previous dynasties collapsed and never revived. She was crazy. Lol
