The thing is, she doesn't care much bc she just wants to find the culprit to her mom's murderer. Once she finds…
The tricks against her and her nephew should only get worse in a typical drama. I haven’t read the book. I don’t know when/if she starts to defend herself and protect her nephew. The child is suffering from the schemes as she narrowly focuses on finding the killer of her mother. She promised to protect him. He was fair game when she planned to leave him in the house for months. The schemers will up their game if they know they can get away with it.
Anyone else excited for the moment the stepmom realises that her precious YS whom she's in love with (ew) has…
She’s pretty perverted. The doctor was 11 when she became his stepmother! Now, she wants to bed him after he has grown and is married with a child ? Sick. White truck of death for her is the only option.
It feels like a palace drama where the below average concubines are playing stupid tricks and finally getting away with it. The protagonists need to step up their game or this will be a waste good actors.
better skip it for now as of now female lead is outwitted by dumb concubines
She needs to draw a line at abduction and an aggressive attempt to publicly ruin her reputation. She is way beyond cat fights at this point. She can no longer be neutral or they will kill her off like the sister.
I do not see the appeal of the young woman from LA. She’s dull and clingy and honestly, not tha physically attractive…
The older mistress’ career is stunning. But, she comes across manipulative with at least one heartbreak or incident behind her. Also, what does she see in the young lawyer? He is really not raised well. He’s immature and spoiled by his parents. Did she really get pregnant by such a man-child?
The LA reject seems cheap. She’s working hard to get a married doctor as a boyfriend. I’m assuming she’s trying to join the second wives club. But, the doctor doesn’t seem like the divorcing type.
Im really done , i can't watch them any more , maybe when the story line is back to presnt , and I'm not even…
They are not back to the present because the older father is still alive in these episodes! They are just adding details to the cheating methods. It’s hard to watch.
I can only add to the shower of praise generously given to this great little drama! They packed a large amount of heart wrenching emotions into 5 episodes and they did it with class. The characters feel realistic. The OST is memorable. The script is closer to reality than most. Excellent! 9.5/10
It was decent but not great. The actors were the best part of this. The script was the weak point of this movie. There are heartbreaking scenes, but, the whole thing feels disjointed. The clear message is a strong woman stands by her man even when he has not stood by her for decades. It’s self sacrificial for the strong female. Feels like another loss for the female lead from beginning to end. 7/10
You made a good point about the doctor setting up his step mother to reveal she pushed his father’s health over…
You got more out of ep. 10 than I did! I may have skipped too much because I did see the reference to the dead twin. But, I saw the part where the serial cheater woman seems very shady. Makes me wonder if she is a straight gold digger or someone that collects married men like toys.
It was worth watching after starting and stopping a few times. The dialogue between the main couple seemed skewed when listening to the male lead. It was hard to understand his perspective. It took watching the dynamics in is family life to realize his environment shaped him into an awkward social misfit who missed out on the standard social interactions in his life. So, the secondary couple was easy to embrace and follow which was the only reason to watch early on. Fortunately, the main couple started to sync and more emotions were added to their scenes. But, the second male lead was the scene stealer. The writer gave his character more depth of emotions and the actor delivered. I cried too much watching him Kang Tae Ho cry onscreen. 8.5/10
Can someone explain to me, what was up with Dan ah's family thinking she was a lesbian, repeated mentions of 'outing'…
The last 3 episodes were the best. The ending closed the open plot lines, exposed hidden and not too hidden secrets. Then, proceeded to a partially sad, then , happy ending for most characters.
