In episode 16, they perfectly captured the joyful mood of young people being on a journey with people they like. I especially liked this part, it felt very real (I've experienced this type of traveling with friends. Fortunately, we didn't meet any bandits on our journeys. :D)

These weren't the most interesting episodes imo... I hope that the plot will continue with the following ones.

It's not a series to stress, it's fun despite some darker scenes. But the overall tone is light (I am at ep 21)..

I had the bad idea to watch (part of) Lost You Forever S1 and S2...took me several weeks to get over it. :D

This isn't an action thriller, but definitely not a costume romance either :)

I like the actress too, I think that this character suits her well. She is very feminine, but she can speak and act with determination when needed. And according to her role, she is more mature than ML because of the time traveling 'rebirth', and in reality Jing Tian is also a few years older than Zhang Wanyi.

I like this FL especially because she is smart, courageous, strong-minded, yet very feminine, she doesn't want to be like a man. ML fell in love with her precisely because they complete each other perfectly. :)

True... I would never waste my free time watching a series that I don't enjoy. :)

Forcing yourself to continue a series which you don't find entertaining, and thus wasting your free time, indeed doesn't sound good...

It depends on your taste. If you expect a dead-serious political/historical drama with full of angst, action scenes and scheming, than it won't be for you.

This drama is a pure entertainment, and excepting some dark scenes, overall it's very fun to watch.

But give it a try and you will see if you like it.

I have the same opinion, I liked his two previous series, but I like this one more.

It's a matter of ego, not necessarily a matter of education. Some people are born egocentric, and they cannot empathize with other people's feelings, when they are acting bad towards them. :((((

In ep 15, she rejects him clearly, and later on, he reflects upon that and he finds peace in his heart, wishing her happiness.

This show is so much fun. In ep 18, when she asked him why did he replace the groom in the spectacle, he just mumbled in response. mnnmnmnmnmnmn 😂 FL: "What? I couldn't hear you!" 😂😂😂 and than he confess that he didn't want her to marry someone else even in a performance... ZWY is playing this character great! :)

If I was the author, I wouldn't allow this kind of "adaptation". I think that for a true adaptation, the author should be the scriptwriter as well or at least the author should be heavily involved in the work.

I am now nearly sick whenever she appears on screen. 🙄

I am glad that I didn't read the novel.. so I don't compare the story with a reference, and I enjoy it very much for as it is.

I feel sorry for those who are disappointed with the series and feel that the series betrayed the novel.
