I really hope that there won't be a twist in their relationship (like a hesitation of her part and have some residual positive feelings for him. It would ruin her character for me).

That's why it would be so embarrassing for FL to confess to her brother that this guy was her first love.. No wonder that she kept this story quiet..

I am not surprised, LSY is a wonderful character, and he plays it excellent. Which is more, the FL's character is also excellent, and they are forming a superb pairing.

She was rushing to fall in love at the first possible occasion (the first time when she encountered a handsome stranger). She knew nothing of him, but she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. He proved to be unworthy of love.

Later, she meets a man, who, from the first day of their meeting, is revealed to be "out of the possible love" zone. She gets to know him progressively, discovers his personality layer by layer, and the more she knows about him, the more he proves to be worthy of love. But he is out of reach for her, even in thoughts.
