Romance has already happened and is continuing to happen.
The guy deeply cares for Rahee. Dohyuk cares for Mone, going as far as to warn her about the other evil guy that showed up this season. Rahee somehow felt so remorseful after seeing her daughter defend her - the characterization of her character this season does not match past seasons. She didn't care about Dami at all, and was just a selfish person. Suddenly she changed to fit the writer's convenience. Meh

I still watch the trainwreck lol. Clearly didn't learn my lesson from Penthouse.

I mean, this is coming from the writer of Penthouse, is it not? What were we expecting haha.... yet I still am shocked how wild this drama is. Evil people have a nice shield, while the good people suffer.

Maybe that's why the writer is trying to use Rahee/Lahui to be the one to fight vs evil because she is similar to them. They made her all repentful -_- Sigh.

For a second, I thought time would rewind - like one of those isekai shows - and RaHee would have a second chance at doing right. But no looool this train is still goingggg

There are Korean YouTubers alleging the same thing, citing similarities between the two individuals but it sounded very conspiracy-theory to me lol

There's bound to be similarities because we're all human with unique lives but there are of course, similarities even between each unique life.

So it serves the plot, of course :) hehe
Kind of like how there are often so many incompetent policeman in some kdramas while in crime-solving kdramas, suddenly law enforcement are allstars and are even better than what we see IRL (almost fantasy level)!

Right? Even the Grandpa treated his own daughter (Haein's Aunt) like trash. My heart broke for her cause sure, her personality is a little blunt and rough around the edges, but she genuinely cares for her family. But then the grandpa just told her she's ruining his life just as her mother had (his late wife) - what a horrible, scarring thing to say to your own daughter!!

I'm getting sad ending vibes, but that's cause I don't want to get my hopes up that she'll live and be absolutely broken + crying later XD

I've never said he deserved all that. She is wrong for many things too. Regardless, I do think she deserves better than him.

On the flip side, he should find someone else too.

All I expressed was that it was astonishing to see him SMILE happily at the news of his wife's death sentence (chronic illness). She is someone whom he once loved, cared about, and promised to spend life with. His reaction was worse than a stranger.

He learns his wife will die soon, and he's sleeping peacefully and super smiley. Wow. I don't want to judge his character based off the first two episodes, but so far, I feel she deserves so much better than him.

Unsatisfactory ending. It fell flat for me.
I did cry when their daughter cried over her dad’s death. It just felt iffy that her daughter had to see a dead bird to “understand death.”

Villainess died too easy, she got her death so quick. Her death should have been as painful as the girl’s dad’s death was, insides burning, excruciating death. Sigh.

I wouldn’t recc this drama to anyone

In one of her interviews, Son Ye Jin shared how she went into acting because she always had so, so many emotions. Acting was a good outlet for her emotions and feels.

Thus, I strongly doubt she has retired from acting.

However, she is prioritizing motherhood at this time.
Once her baby grows up more and becomes more independent, she may return to screen.

I think it's just a matter of time !
