They actually grew up together, were besties and then lovers before eventually splitting years ago. So it is not…
The trope has been improved over the years.
I remember the decade where kids (ages 5~13) were best friends & romantically interested in each other, forced to be part for 10+ years, but still love each other LOL...man..those were the days xD;
The production value of this one was off the charts, but I found it pretty cliche, with the weakest part being…
He was consumed by his possessiveness of his family (wife and sons), so much so that he did nothing else for himself and his happiness. Miserable character, and anyone like him in real life also live miserably. He ruined his own life by being abusive and choosing to do cruel actions in the name of "love."
The way he kept the house the same, unable to move on for 15+ years, it just illustrates how mentally unstable he was.
I feel he wasn't one-dimentional at all, but one example of how a person can be so evil and one-track-minded, with zero empathy.
ok so now that this drama is finished someone tell me how bad the love triangle is?
Not bad at all. All three adults involved are mature, and are true to their feelings. They're respectful. -- With that said, you may feel SML syndrome and may come to realize that it's Mok Ha's choice and Mok Ha's feelings that come into play here :)
None of that typical k-drama insanity, obsession, or self-centered lust.
The sudden flash-forward (time skip) threw me off! I enjoyed the season overall.
I'm curious to see how her daughter's attitudes change or evolve next season. It's so sad that the mother died :( Tbh, I thought the daughter would care about her mother more but she was so nonchalant, it makes me kind of scared.. will she become an adversary? She seems to be more sympathetic towards monsters and has a jaded view about humans, sterotyping them all.Hope this changes as she grows up. Maybe she'll come to realize that her mother did really love her She just can't help but be fearful and worried that her daughter is hurting others.
I think that their ages are pretty accurate or close. She was married for about 9 years. She would not be 23 or…
She was already getting gossiped about for her gaunt appearance in her recent past drama(s) and critisisms about how her appearance changed (from effects of small cosmetic surgeries, over time, tend to cause shifts in one's look that doesn't look as good as it did when the adjustments were first made) :/ Hope she is and stays healthy though.
The only thing I didn’t like is that they totally forget about Dami’s plot. And now probably Lee Hwiseo died…
Yeah :/
It really depends on how well the writer executes the twists and what exactly the twists are. Twists can be mind-blowing, shocking, and gives goosebumps! Other twists elicits o_O . . . uh . . for real? Why? And other such conflicting or discontent feelings lol
i'm not mad about reading spoilers even though I am only on episode 5 but there's a spoiler tag available for…
Yeah, people just get so excited to discuss that they hit post without checkmark-ing the spoiler >.<
To be safe, we need to avoid comment section (and social medias, cause you know they upload clips all over there) until fully caught up. I've been spoiled one-too-many-times online lol
To people complaining about lots of filler - I agree with you. That's it's only 12 episodes total makes it look…
Right? Her journey in becoming a singer ("diva" from title) is on the back-burner! She seems perfectly well adjusted, apart from small shocks about technological advancements here and there - cue: mcdonalds drive thru commercial >_> No therapy or other 'how to adult in society' moments...
The look on that man's face. Did he think his kids would remain the little boys he could beat up and push around?…
I don't think he's scared or worried. I could be wrong, but his face expression looked l'surprised' to see his son at the doorsteps. He anticipated on hunting his son down like prey.
Scary part is, they showed us how AGE isn't a factor or a mountain to the psycho father at all. He may not be able to win hand-to-hand combat with his grown-up sons, but he is evil and will use any and all means to harm them.
See: the way he killed a young man, maybe around his son's age, with hornets, making it seem like an accident rather than homicide.

At least, now it makes more sense.
I suppose we're all human, and she was just doing her best in the circumstances she was facing :(
The king's court is clearly biased towards the (dead) king
:I
Maybe it's a difference of values or something. She really puts the lives of others (strangers) over the one she (supposedly) loves most..........
I think he deserves better lol

Hope the assistant faces karma or repercussions for lying.
Even IRL, there are stars who with a fake accusation of school bullying (iljin), their careers are ruined. It happens..
he better not die.
