Ex: Amnesia + chronic illness leading to death (2000s love stories) Ex: Childhood besties / lovers turn super lovers after XX years apart, even, they only love each other (2000s love stories) Ex: Time travel, isekai like themes (still trending now both in webtoon, webnovel, and now kdrama worlds) Ex: Break up but they still love each other, and end up together in the end after getting over their misunderstandings or growing closer together again (trending nowadays)
Most writers are too scared to deviate too far, because it's a risk to them.

Not bad at all. All three adults involved are mature, and are true to their feelings. They're respectful. -- With that said, you may feel SML syndrome and may come to realize that it's Mok Ha's choice and Mok Ha's feelings that come into play here :)
None of that typical k-drama insanity, obsession, or self-centered lust.
