So parts of Aranya's dream was too complex for me to understand just by reading it. Watching it play out is helping fill in the holes. But I never understood 2 things - #1 did all all the original events actually happen in Fanyin Valley in a parallel universe while FJ was going something else or was it even before FJ was born? #2 Who created Aranya's dream and why? Care to fill in the blanks for me =)

It does. I was iffy about it and randomly picked an episode to watch for a few minutes to see if I liked it - I got sucked in. It's a good mix of comedy and romance. I liked it and went back and started from ep 1.

How do they get around the aspect of DH fated to not be able to have a relationship/love because his name wasn't written on the stone from previous drama? That stone FJ tried her best to fix but couldn't.

So you know the beginning of each episode when they play the music and show scenes from the drama, there was one scene I don't recall ever seeing. It was when QS was doing a dance in the middle of the palace, she was surrounded by other dancers and had a veil over the front of her face, YWY was then holding on to her and dancing behind her. I don't recall ever seeing that scene , did you? It's not the one where she dresses up as a peacock.

The scene withe Wu Chen and YWY was great. The scene with the Dancer/Fake Favorite of YWY and QS was good too - where she described how she knew YWY loved her. I wonder if anyone was confused about why the heck Zhuge Wu Xue proposed to QS? Since when the heck did he fall in love with her?

I think the real YWY died at about 38, perhaps the story is playing off the fact that YWY fakes his death and chased after QS instead.

I skipped through a lot of scenes too. I mainly was chasing YWY and QS lovey dovey scenes. I didn't know that Wu Chen and YWY knew each other since childhood though, good catch!I I liked how they showed the childhood QS and YWY meeting over the horses as children, fate. I just wished she didn't run away AGAIN at the end.

Someone explain Zhuge Wu Xue's character to me. So he's a evil mastermind who is a chief of a special village?? Is that right? I don't quite understand why everyone fears him so much. Him and Wu Chun's character confuses me. How does Wu Chun end up being YWY's buddy in the first place. I actually loved his Wu Chun's character.
