This drama started off with such promise and then it's like it decided to leap off a cliff at the end. I won't even waste my energy commenting on the FML snd ML. But at the end the relationship between YeHui and Wei wei makes absolute zero sense to me. What in the world?!?

I've been skimming the episodes at best. I haven't been able to gel with the FML's acting and find her character poorly written. Obviously the other bad dudes and dudettes have been mediocre too. I don't know what I'm still hanging around for??

I wanted a major break up as well. I am finding myself exhausted by their relationship. Yet I doubt a breakup and major make up will occur as well. The remaining eps will probably focus on the latest scandal at work. I don't foresee any growth in the FML or ML's character or their relationship.

Why do I feel like I'm hunting and pecking to find this episode on the days it is supposed to be broadcasted? Are Tuesday and Saturday accurate?

Loving this drama so far! She is one of my favorite actresses. Going in knowing full well there's an age difference between the leads and I'm here rooting for the FML. She finds chemistry with a younger guy who loves her back, finds her way to overcome societal views of what is an acceptable relationship age factor - go get em' girl! I'm rooting for her and all the other ladies out. He's of legal age, hot, digs her back - I'm all for it!

I feel as though I wanted a romance arrow shooting from him to Chang Ge and I have no idea why...

From what I've seen the Uncle is responsible for the death of her family members. Her Uncle wants to be the emperor and thus sacrifices had to be made.

I agree - I think this is the first time I can recall King killing off a Queen for in his own death in drama world....

I was wondering the same exact thing. At the moment, XQ and Awu were speaking privately I got the sense he was on to General Song. But then I went back on that thought at a later point when he and Song were having a private conversation and he was semi-teasing him about not wanting to leave the Cap because he doesn't want to not see the maid. I don't know that he would have said those lines if he knew that G.Song was in love with his wife.

I'm not familiar with ZZY's acting. Throughout the drama so far I've noticed that she is always breathless and whispering. I get the royal ladies back in the day were supposed to be quiet but through the entire drama I've noticed she's whispering as if she's sick. In the novel is her character sickly and always gasping as the character spoke? Or is it actually ZZY's voice in all of her works?

I feel like she had a line in the drama where she said to ZDan that a few months have passed but it feels like half a lifetime.

Before she was called back to the palace she was packing because she knew he was taking troops down South for something and she was going to follow him. So basically he is on official business the other direction and it takes 6 days to get to her provided he gets the message she's in trouble.

Dramaland or not- it's generally a good idea to be with someone who doesn't want to lose you, afraid to lose you perhaps, or will do anything to protect your relationship. MZ has not done that for RR. Remember when he asked CLuo in the car if he is going to clue RR in about SM bc she might break up with him thereby giving him an in to RR's heart? Chen Luo wasn't wrong in saying that isn't his job - it's MZ's responsibility and has been all along. Him hiding his past with SM gives SM leverage over him because it is something he is hiding. Why would any man give an ex such power over his current relationship if felt it was of any value? You wouldn't unless you knew that you could talk you way back into her heart and she's too weak to run far. Sadly, I don't support their relationship but no one asked me lol.

Yes, she is doing all these things knowing full well she shouldn't. There is no bottom line for her. So far he has put up some resistance but we have all seen that in other dramas where all it takes is for MZ to have a moment of weakness or one too many drinks and we go overboard. The core of RR's relationship with MZ bothers me because it is built upon sand, that has distracted me from Chen Luo and his antics as well.

I struggle with weaker FMLs who are so easily thrown off by emotions. RanRan aside, I find myself really disappointed with the ML. Not the actor or his acting but the character. I think I found myself liking aspects of the sneaky ChenLuo much more than I should have because of the issue I had with Ming Zhe. Sure, MZ is smart and in many respects he handles issues better than RR. He's more clear headed and outside looking in. I appreciate the help he has given her during the drama so far. But but but he knows better than to keep Su Mo and his past a secret. Knowing how deeply RanRan was hurt by Su Mo and her first love interest and yet he still keeps it a secret anyways.

We all have skeletons in our closet to an extent and a past. However, he keeps letting Su Mo be present in his life : eating with her, riding in his car, holding his arm, hugs - it doesn't end. And it won't. Ming Zhe isn't a dummy in this drama so there's no reason for him to assume one day Su Mo is just going to wake up and snap out of it. If he really wanted to draw the line in the sand he would have. That is why I struggle so much with hearing him say how much he adores RanRan.

I feel the FML is too weak and she will just take him back after the real truth surfaces. That's where I struggle with this drama. I don't feel like MingZhe is good for her because if I were in her shoes, I don't think I would ever truly trust him again. This is the first drama I can say that I wish the female lead walks away and doesn't choose either men.

I'm ready for this drama right about meow.
