And since he’s of pure blood, he can heal faster. Him being alive at the end means the antibody worked, and the experiment succeeded, making him stronger than ever — even as a human.

So Yoo Ri Ta is fully committed to the experiment, and when Park Ji Sang died, of course they had to revive his body and monitor him. It could take a long time before his body is completely cured, and by the time he woke up, Yoo Ri Ta had already left for Kochenia as planned.
