"JJ: The process was edited pretty much. How can I say, those boys are from JYP and Park Jinyoung CEO has always been telling his trainees (since he showed up in Kpop Star) that being slim is a plus to their performance. Tbh for their performance, 90% of the masters would give them All Star, then we discussed to choose some factors that can create a story for them (because there's high chance they would continue to get All star in the next round, they're talented and experienced). And finally we agreed to give them a change in their appearance, so that they can shine even more and people would have to accept "That's boystory!". Their agency has already mentioned this matter to the boys, so we only take the chance to remind them again. When the filming finished, we also talked to the boys a lot, that if they follow our advice, their next stage would be real good. But if audiences and fans only watch the edited brocasted parts, of course they would feel uncomfortable. Even me (when I watch it), I have the same feeling. Btw, the trainees and related people understood it better than anyone else and I myself think they would have found it helpful."

Here are a few things to say: I did not make disrespectful remarks about appearance. The content was edited, but the members themselves know very well why they were told to go on a diet. It was not something that would hurt them, but to show their true worth in the next evaluation with a sharper performance. That's what his PD always says. It was meant to remind them again, so please don't misunderstand. (I was confident that even a little dieting would be a + factor for these incredibly talented individuals and would show dramatic growth changes.) I'm someone who cheers on all the contestants and hopes they grow, and I don't want to visually insult them one-dimensionally.
It may not have been shown at all on TV, but we met behind the cameras, had deep conversations, and respected each other. As a fan or viewer, it may have been a bit unpleasant, but I would appreciate it if you didn't judge everything based on the edited version of the broadcast.
The masters know better than anyone the seriousness and heavy hearts of the participants, so even if they occasionally give harsh criticism, please know that it is not an evaluation that aims to control their future with a single word, but rather a desire to help them realize their values and bright dreams. There was no such thing as mockery at all and good vibes only. You guys don't know anything about Jaejoong, everything he went through his entire life, his sincerity about singing and dancing and his relationship with the boys. If you're this mad go blame the other judges because Jaejoong is simply the one who spoke and the industry as a whole. And blame yourself, because Hanyu ignored in youtube videos and fan votes over pretty skinny ones is entirely your fault. Then he forgot a dance move, which happens, and Jaejoong wasn't there. But know that Jaejoong is aware and wouldn't want them to be at risk. Ever. He made sure of it. I hope whoever calls me a bully is proud to be one, because I couldn't sit there and watch, let alone jump on the hate train for clout (Hanyu's words). There was also a video with the boys talking about Jaejoong but I don't have it anymore, well not that it matters. You can't change haters' minds.
