Many love triangles are here for decoration, but Our Universe is more meaningful and has a sense of competition. The hate is exaggerated and out of touch with the drama. Two people raising a baby is not enough tension, go watch an educational video if that's what you want. Having written only the first episodes is also irrelevant, as it was a team of writers from the get-go who already had the story planned out, they only shared a portion of the work. Plus, wanting female characters to be idealized based on your own twisted point of view does not help at all. The female lead here was very good, strong on her own and imperfect as most humans are. The moment where Tang shovels the snow in front of his house so his mother notices him made me sad, even if all I wanted was for him to get away. I almost cried when Tang tells Roh Bin he’s scared at the end of Episode 6. It’s as if he found a goal in his life, and the end is a new beginning.

What I understood personally was that they were still trying to end it, but couldn't because they didn't want to, and that's how they were still in the process of breaking up. They promised each other not to make excuses or call the situation a coincidence if fate brought them together again, and not to let the other go, hinting that they would be reunited as lovers again. And even if that's not the case, their love was so deep that it had a positive impact on them and they ended on good terms so they had no regrets. What's certain is that they'll always be special to each other. Life goes on, right? The final scene was poetic. It felt like a new beginning, and it was pretty much what I expected: their promise has come true. About their parents, enough time has passed and they had proven to them how sincere their love was. I also liked the way the two young employees decided to follow Young Eun with her new brand.

Open-ended but hopeful enough to be considered happy. It made me cry tears of joy because it was so beautiful. Actually one of the better k-drama endings and not what people make it out to be here. The narration seems to leave you the choice, but you can ignore it anyway.

It was a happy ending! I don't consider 7.9 low, but even though it was popular it did have divisive opinions. It had multi-dimensional characters and a deep story, so I wouldn't rely on ratings anyway. It's also a melodrama so it can be messy and over-the-top. I do know that many people started to like the SFL more because her character was refreshing in the drama along her relationship with Hoon, but to go against the FL with the life she's had...🙄 I've seen complaints about her acting here too, but first of all she was very young and it was a complicated/cold character, not everyone likes that. I think she did well and she was the most complex with Han Jae Joon.
