I think this show will have more drama that I was expecting it to have. Not gonna lie, I don't care about the ML's storyline. And the whole plague thing was a bit much for only the second week, imo.
But what I really don't like is that after them getting all melodramatic and romantic we have to watch a bunch of girls compete? Like, they already like each other? we all know who's gonna win the competion? I don't see the point. I just wanted to watch the two couples be silly and cute but there's too much going on for me. Not to mention that for an isekai, the FL seems to know nothing about what's happening in the novel she read, and didn't seem to understand well the main characters of said novel.
EP5: I wasn't expecting a drug dealer matchmaker lmao. This show can get so unserious. I love it. And I really hope this doesn't go early 00's trend of killing their main character. Ma boy better be okay.
This is a cycle. Seon Hwa is mistreated by her mother in law for "not being enough" for her son. Now SH is doing…
I expect her parents will be on her side. Dad already said that he wanted her to be happy and mom is a rock star. She has done everything for GJ the whole show, so I expect her to do the same for HJ.
I really hope HJ's story has a good resolution with people showing her the respect she deserves and supporting her happiness. It's so sad she believes everything people say about her. Without context you would think that she killed someone or something like that. They're treating her like a sinner. She doesn't deserve this.

Idk, people in that town are kinda wild. Even our dear FL's reaction was like "HOW ARE YOU GONNA DO THIS TO YOUR BESTIE". She's Hyeon Ju's sister and still treated like that...
And Seon Hwa had already said some nasty things about divorced people in front of her divorced best friend. Tbh, I don't know how much respect she actually has for HJ.
But I agree with you. You wouldn't except a friend to treat you that way. Tbh, I would never be friends with Seon Hwa again, if I were HJ. With friends like her, who needs enemies...
I hope HJ gets an apology. And not some BS like "okay, I'm gonna do you the favor of letting you be with my awesome brother". I want an actual apology, because she did nothing wrong and she doesn't deserve this outrageous treatment, especially from someone she used to call "friend".
Honestly what Hyeon Ju has done to deserve this kind of treatment from Seon Hwa? Being a single mother of two?…
This is a cycle. Seon Hwa is mistreated by her mother in law for "not being enough" for her son. Now SH is doing the same thing to her friend because she actually believes it. She thinks her husband is better than her and that he deserved better and she also thinks that her brother is better than her friend.
That's called living in a patriarchal society that makes women hate themselves for literally no reason and attack each other while placing men as superior beings for no reason at all. 🤷
I've heard a bunch of women (moms) speak like SH in real life. It's usually not as dramatic as in kdramas, but this whole "you're not good enough for my son/brother" bullshit is crazy real. Internalized misogyny is a scary thing.
Btw, I love that most characters feel so cool and nonchalant about what happening, no one angry or feel betrayed…
I kinda feel bad for the mom. Even strawberry guy (who's basically a stranger) knows what's going on. But she still can't tell them apart even when she literally lived with Mi Ji for years, and now she's been living with Mi Rae for months.
I love this series ,but the subs on gagaolala are completely off. The dialogue feels weird like they are saying…
The subtitles are way worse than Netflix subs (and I HATE Netflix subtitles). Unless the audience reads well the situation or understands some Korean, there a lot of convos that they are getting wrong.
i can't be the only one anxious about the convenience store worker and the brother dying like i just have a very…
I've been preparing myself mentally to say goodbye to the convenience store worker tbh (hopefully he survives tho). But the brother did unlock an anxious ball inside me. I hope nothing happens to him.
