Wow, I can't believe I loved the second episode more than the first one. Honestly, we have the perfect balance here - there are heartbreaking moments that make me cry (the scene with Yeon Seo in her room), but there are also moments that make me smile and laugh (Dan's interview). Everything is balanced soo well!
Dan is very cute and funny, but Ji Kang Woo owns my heart., Lee Dong Gun is just toooo perfect! I'm not sure if we'll have love triangle here, but... probably not. Yeon Seo has such a bad temper, she is soo rude that it makes me laugh everytime xD I feel bad for her because noone understands her, she probably feels so lonely inside. I can't tell what kind of character is Ni Na, she looks like that naive stupid girl that everyone hates, but I kind of pity her. I hope she won't turn evil thoughout the story. The only thing that kind of annoys me so far is the aunt. Yeah, she is evil, we got it, but it looks soo exaggerated that it distracts me from watching.
Once again, Shin Hye Sun is amazing! And can we talk about the stunning cinematrography? The director is doing such a great job, there are so many beautiful shots here! And Dan's wings are so beautiful, gosh <3
So far it feels very nice. I like the vibes it carries, it's very calm and mellow. Simple dialogues, different and interesting characters and rawness, so far I approve. Yes, it is quite similar to Something in the Rain, but I think I like it more... at least for now. But why do I feel like it will be even more dramatic than SITR? I hope I'm wrong. Please, writer, don't ruin this drama too. Be wiser this time, please.
WHAT A STRONG FIRST EPISODE! I loved everything about it! Myung soo's acting has improved so much and Shin Hye…
Dan was so cute when he realised that she can see him! <3 I hope this won't be a sad ending although I can't see it otherwise... Ahh, please don't break my heart, writer-nim :( Btw I could immediately tell that it's the same director as Queen for Seven Days, we have King Yoong, Queen Dowager (and I hate her here even more) and the Royal Secretary! What a great cast!
WHAT A STRONG FIRST EPISODE! I loved everything about it! Myung soo's acting has improved so much and Shin Hye Sun never fails to amaze me! It's very hard to act like a blind person but she is doing brilliant so far! She gets better with each role role and I love the fact that she always picks different kind of roles for her. Honestly, one of the best first episodes I've ever seen. If this continues being that good, it will surely became one of my favourites this year!
Yeeey, your first article is here! I really enjoyed reading it, you did a great job!
I love Minseok and I will miss him so much :( He was really cute in Seondal and EXO Next Door, I hope to see him acting again after he finishes his military service. His voice is perfect for OST songs, SM should give him more opportunities to shine, our baby deserves it ;-;
Another brilliant article! Thank you, Lua and 3GGG for your great work! I'm looking forward to part2.~
As for Signal, I don't think it should have a romance tag. Yes, Soo Hyeon liked Jae Han, but I couldn't tell whether he also felt the same or he only cared for her as a colleague and a friend. Their relationship never developed into something, so I don't think there is romance in Signal. But I've always wondered why dramas like Remember: War Of The Son don't have a romance tag. Yeah, the romance isn't the main plot, but it is there, it is even developed unlike in Signal. If anyone has an idea why Remember doesn't have a romance tag, feel free to share it with me. But as @Scrlt_pimpernel said, tags are subjective.
lol im all here for dark characters and dramas showing the dark side of human nature, ur not supposed to like…
Yeah but they couldn't handle it well, that's why bong soon was kinda messy although I liked it. Plus in Bong Soon, the killer was the problem, not one of the main characters. As I said, in HPL we have sasaeng appearances, but if Duk Mi was also a sasaeng fan, it would have ruined the whole point of the drama.

There's nothing wrong with dramas showing the dark side of human nature. But HPL is made to entertain people, to make them smile, it's a romcom after all. I also like dark characters, but not in this genre and definitely not in dramas like Her Private Life
