More like Eternal Wait 😅 ... Anyway, I haven't watched any of the leads in any dramas, so I have no idea how…
I do not know much about Zhai Xiao Wen, but I am confident Zhang Ling He will be great in this drama if the director and script allow him to. In his latest drama, 'Story of Kunning Palace,' he plays a morally grey and devious, yet emotionally hurt male lead, and he does not fail to deliver, so I am pretty positive about him playing Hua Cheng.
I haven’t started this drama yet….so wanted to ask is it wort to watch it?
Just started watching it over the weekend. I'm currently on episode 12, and it's soooo worth it!
Initially, I was a bit hesitant because reverse harem dramas aren't usually my favorite, but this one... definitely stole my heart.
The plot is far from simple and can get pretty confusing at times, yet it never fails to amuse and gets me excited for the next episode.
If you like morally grey, devious male leads and smart, strong, yet feminine female leads, then you should definitely give it a try! The chemistry is off the charts; all the actors do a decent job, and even the costumes look amazing.
It's definitely one of the best cdramas out there this year.
I have already reserved it on iqiyi so as soon as it comes out, I will get a notification. Guess I will check my phone as often as one is able to do so ðŸ˜
anyone willing to give spoilers about this drama. I posted a comment before asking for the same but can't find…
BIG SPOILERS!!!
Orchid is actually the long lost goddess of Xishan. When Rong Hao wanted to take her away and kill her in hopes of saving his master, her family members resisted and hid her, thus she became a lowly fairy in Shuiyuntian.
Everything Danyin saw in the mirror in Arbiter Hall does happen. Orchid will get married to Changheng twice - well, almost twice. Once in the mortal realm with a fake identity, once as the goddess of Xishan. However, their second wedding ceremony will be disrupted due to the evil spirit gaining a golden body. DFQC sacrifices himself so that he can change Orchid's destiny (she was meant to marry Changheng and die while fighting against Tai Su).
DFQC and Orchid's relationship is very complicated. They will confess to each other after coming back from the human realm. From then on, they will become a couple and almost get married. But Xiao Lan Hua sacrifices herself and when she resurrected, she will be a different person. DFQC upon realising no matter what he does, Orchid doesn't love him anymore (or so he thinks), he will try to trap Tai Su inside his heart trying to change her destiny but things get out of hand (thus the disruption of the wedding).
The ending is happy though bc remember DFQC is true immortal, even the fairies couldn't kill him. :))
It all comes down to personal preference. I personally loved this drama and never once found the female lead annoying.…
I never said don't watch it lol. I just popped up the question: why did you watch the whole drama if you disliked it so much?
I appreciate critical thinking, and I agree with some of the things you disliked about this drama but saying "i hate you guys" and "MDL has gone to the dogs or the 14 years old" has nothing to do with critical thinking. You could have made a polite comment why you didn't like this drama.
I never said ignore bad writing. I only said it is a drama, there a plotholes, not everything makes sense. There are dramas with much more and much less plotholes. Could you give me an example what was so unrealistic that it made the drama crumble?
After picking and dropping it off for god knows how many time, I finally got myself to ep 35. I must say that…
Maybe you should try watching The Untamed Special Edition because it's much shorter (20 episodes) and focuses more on the relationship of the two main characters.
It all comes down to personal preference. I personally loved this drama and never once found the female lead annoying.…
If you were annoyed by the female lead, disliked the writing, and found it gross that two men were courting a "mentally 6 years old", then why did you watch it? You could have easily found a drama much more to your liking, and your time would have been spared. Yeah, people said she does mature, but you had other problems as well other than the female lead - why watch it then?
It is a drama. Of course there are plotholes and some things do not make sense.
I dropped it at episode 17 when I watched it previously, but now seeing how high rated it is makes me intrigued…
It depends. Although she still remains pretty innocent and childish for a long time, she has decent character development and becomes less and less naive by each episode. Towards the end, she will go through a big change and won't be childish anymore - quite the opposite, actually.
Love and Redemption, Unchained Love, The Untamed + upcoming drama Love You Seven Times (it takes place in the…
Oh yess, I look forward to Love You Seven Times so much that I check when it comes out every day. I really hope the August 13th rumour is true! How can I not mention The Untamed every chance I get when it is such a masterpiece? :33
Holy bad writing. MDL has gone to the dogs, or the 14 year olds. That's the only explanation for how these new…
It all comes down to personal preference. I personally loved this drama and never once found the female lead annoying. She was meant to be childish and naive. She did mature throughout the episodes and had a decent character development. I am sorry you didn't like it but do not make this drama look so bad just because it doesn't meet your personal preferences.
