Well, the story is 1:1 the original story (even tuned down a bit), which is called: DAKAICHI -I'm being harassed…
i haven't watched the anime yet, but i find the angel wings so adorable. to me, they don't stand out 😇 to be honest, i understand why some people feel things are "missing" but that's the reason why i like Top Form. no useless fillers or annoying characters taking up too much time, just pure and raw emotions 🤧
fr though, it deserves higher. I swear it totally deserves 10.
i wholeheartedly agree! this def deserves to be among the top bl dramas, here on mdl. still, 8.7 is a very good score (especially for a thai bl), so i'm happy either way 😊
i mean akin could have simply convinced people the photo was from one of his upcoming shows😭 why being so dramatic
but then more photos would have been exposed, probably without the blur. plus, people would hardly believe him as it could easily be a lie to defend himself. but when two very established stars together say the same thing on tv in live, people are more likely to believe. this is my guess 🤷🏼♀️ or it is just a plot armour haha
He has stayed faithful to his wife just as ANY loving partner / husband should do.But there is NO WAY IN HELL…
I understand what you're saying, and I do agree that filial piety is an important value. But as someone who grew up with an awful father—someone who appeared on the outside to be an amazing, caring family man, yet was mentally abusive behind closed doors and even manipulated financial issues—I believe the situation isn’t as black-and-white as it might first seem.
We don’t truly know what went on behind the scenes or what led to this point. If I remember correctly, when this couple first got married, they faced a lot of hate due to her family being involved in similar fraud. Cyberbullying is a huge issue in South Korea, and sadly, many people fall into depression or even commit suicide due to the relentless harassment.
What stands out to me is how the family repeated the same crime despite seeing the backlash their daughter received. In my view, a good father would never put money before his child’s well-being. But, again, we weren’t there and can’t know all the details.
One thing I’m sure of: this decision didn’t come overnight. It probably took months, if not years, to make. For me, it took 7 years to come to terms with my own choices. Severing ties with a family member is not easy for most.
While I may no longer be a fan of Lee Seung-gi due to how he behaved as a host on Starlight Boys, I do respect him for standing by his wife.
You can choose your spouse, but you can’t choose the family you’re born into.
watching this i just realised how Jin is my type. His personality is well written. Always trying to understand…
yeees, i agree with you! he is such a green flag. he is domineering and possessive but not the crazy kind. he knows his self-worth, for example the scene when he left Akin in the parking lot. to me, he gives off husband material: someone you can always rely on, is ready to protect you, knows what is on your mind, and doesn't let you push him away, but always knows when to stop and give you space.
Guys is anyone curious about Jade and that guy in the photo? I've been wondering when he will come into the picture…
i'm sooo curious! that phone conversation between them was mysterious and quite intense 🔥. i'm sure they introduced his character for a reason - he either will play a big role in the last two eps, or in the next season. either way, i am so damn excited!
the actor playing Jade is a great one and if he gets paired with at least a half as good actor, i am done for🛐. also, i really like his personality in the series. he is a good manager, and to me, it seems like he is protecting Akin for a reason unknown so far 🤔
it depends on your preferences. if u don't mind that the story has quite a few loopholes and sometimes doesn't make sense, it is actually a pretty good drama. amazing acting, lovable characters, and a pretty good blend of different genres 🥰 i liked the romance part as well, and the male lead is such a badass!!!
when i can't decide whether to watch a drama or not, i try to watch a few shorts or fan mvs on youtube to help me decide 😇
i love this so much! the plot might not be the strongest, but the characters are very lovable and funny! 🤣 i'm usually not into pure comedy but i have been laughing so much! 😁 definitely a great example of how to mix multiple genres well
i cried, laughed, and smiled so much. it feels like i've grown up with Aesun, and i am so grateful to everyone involved in the making of this series 💕
and to all the people wondering - true love like this does exist! my grandparents lived an extremely similar life, and although they didn't have a happy ending like this, they always loved, cherised, supported, and protected each other till the end of their lives through all kinds of hardships. a literary girl trapped in a small village, a quiet boy always backing her up, the wounds on his skin from physical work, the colourful clothes she wore, and the honest love they shared lasting for decades ❤️ i felt like i was watching them, and this is what makes this drama so unique to me.
it's raw, heart-wrenching, realistic, and sad, yet beautiful and hopeful at the same time. worth a thousand rewatches. 🌻☘️🌸🍃🌠
They might change this on the drama. He might be pretending to be a womanizer.
i see~ 💁🏼♀️. i have read in a previous comment that he only pretends to be a womanizer, so that he will appear stronger and without weaknesses. this might be a thing only in the drama, then!
i am hopeful 🛐 he won't have a harem cause i really hate those kind of dramas. this is why i don't plan on watching The Princess' Gambit, even though it looks interesting. 🥺 this whole infidelity just goes against my religion and morals 😭😭

aaah, i love their couple dynamic sooo muuuch.

thank you so much~, now i have another drama to look forward to 😊
i have read before that the ml is a red flag. is that true? 😊
