wow, this one seems to be promising. i hope there won't be any romantic involvement between the leads though as that would be super weird since she is doing all those things for her terminally ill husband.
I can already feel this is going to be my comfort show for a really long time ☺️ There's just something about their chemistry that feels magical, yet nurturing ✨🧙🏻♂️🔮🪄
I find it hilariously funny how I made a simple comment here not long ago, just expressing my opinion — and yet, I got blocked by another user. Ironically, that same person replied to me and edited their comment to attack me, but now I can’t respond at all 🤣 No worries though, I still get notifications of the replies 😊
I honestly don’t understand — since when is stating an opinion a bad thing? I didn’t insult anyone, I wasn’t rude, and I didn’t criticize anyone directly.
So yeah... there’s “nothing wrong with me.” 😌
Also, just to clarify: Shounen-ai and yaoi are still real and officially used terms — maybe not commonly in the West, but they’re still recognized. (surprised Pikachu face) You can look it up if you’re curious. So no, I’m not “inventing categories,” thank you very much 😃
Let’s just grow up, enjoy the show, and allow people to share their thoughts without jumping down their throats. It’s not that hard 😉
BL fans who care about how much kisses and make out/sex scenes are there, are super toxic, and yes, for many it's…
when it comes to BL, there are two main "genres": shounen-ai and yaoi. yaoi focuses on the physical intimacy between two men, while shounen-ai centers on their romantic feelings for each other. as a demi, I’ve always preferred the latter and never the former. I’ve tried to give yaoi a chance, but the way the characters are sexualized and the scenes being way too graphic—my religious self said, “Nope.”
Honestly, I find the whole "bromance vs. BL" discourse that pops up under almost every censored Chinese…
this! i wholeheartedly agree. i also prefer emotional bls to the ones filled with nsfw scenes but no proper plot. The Untamed, Word of Honor, and so many other "bromance" dramas China has produced over the years are so good and so much better than some dramas originally intended to be bl. not everything has to be sid out loud in order for the viewer to understand. plus this is a drama. if someone wants to enjoy it as a bromance, they have the free will to do so, and vice versa.
i, too, am so excited! i will definitely binge-watch this drama~
If you can say you like explicit scenes, why can't I say I don't like explicit scenes? "What's wrong with you AlexDy?"

So no, it’s not hypocritical. 😄
