Why does Chen He Yi always end up with these asshole roles lol. He even managed to be totally unlikeable in a…
Something about him. Maybe his baby face or that he’s super young and an upcoming actor. He’s so rat/weasel like and super unlikable in every role he acts in. Waiting for him to be a different character going forward!
Nahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! watching ep 30 preview I WASSS SO GLAD he didn't lose his memory after waking up - only to…
Not sure how many tropes we can fit into one arc, but I can’t wait for our First Prince to be th3 COMEBACK KING and fall in love with our badass FL again!,
The stabbing and betrayal by the Murong family and then Yixiao digging him out of literal DEATH, really pulled at my heart! I knew the Shadow Alliance would have a bigger part to play in this plot.
From blindness to amnesia round 2.0. How much can my CP take?! And how is our First Prince going to make a comeback and clear his name?!
One thing I can’t wait for is for him to fall in love with her all over again!!
Definitely a logic lapse but something we must look a little loosely when analysing dramaland. Li Qin looks youthful…
The boy has some serious contour and highlight in this show. Some scenes I’m like CYZ is literally glowing haha. But yes his puppy eyes and pouty lips do add to the baby face. It’s also how they make the men so handsomely pretty in dramaland. But definitely agree an older SML would’ve made more sense. Isnt she like over 10 years older than him IRL. Lol
Ep 16OK, so the sml is miscast because how can he possibly be the owner of the death camp, when he, himself, looks…
Definitely a logic lapse but something we must look a little loosely when analysing dramaland. Li Qin looks youthful but I admit that CZY looks younger than her too, which he is. Fortunately, they have great chemistry though!
His wolf didn’t look like a wolf at all! He described her as intelligent, decisive and fearless but the wolf looked like an adorable bear! 🐻😝 Maybe it’s how direct and cute Xiyiao is in Suige’s heart ♥️ lol
It was the last full drama ZLS filmed to date since she technically didn’t finish Almost Lover (they cut short) before she got sick + her agency issues of this year.
It becomes increasingly obvious in ep 12 and 13, that the relationship is completely transactional for ML. Anytime…
As flawed as Xu Yan is she also tried numerous times to tell him the truth, but he shut her down. She’s flawed and has red flags too, but is at least she is authentic in her dealings with people, particularly in the way she treats people she cares about . Whereas Hao Ming is transactional and scheme and through and through.
I’m actually looking forward to the house of cards, or sandcastle as she said come crumbling down. Her sixth sense isn’t wrong. And Hao Ming grovelling to win her back. 🤣
I was impressed that Joseph was in a HK drama and then also subsequently spoke Canto, until I went onto his profile and realised he is from Shenzhen. ☺️ Love the classic HK actors including Nick and Myolie
He’s got Love Beyond the Grave coming up, though that likely won’t air until next year.
As per the comments below, I suggest you check out the BTS - they have great chemistry including how affectionate/caring Arthur is towards Reba. That said, he has amazing chemistry with Lulu too, and they're the same age
I will miss this cp, sj & lty, hope Arthur Chen and Wang Ying Lu have some projects together in the future.
As WYL said when they asked her if she would collab for a second time “absolutely”, to which arthur reiterated “absolutely” in his perfect American accent.
Obviously yes.... I think it should hv been above 40 eps😔
It was the most obvious in the mortal arc. Defs could’ve done with a few more eps to let some of the build up happen more naturally, but at least they didn’t butcher the cuts AS much as some other dramas lol
china's regulations need to change or they will never make masterpieces cz of botched endings. At least this time…
I agree with you! But like I said in my reply earlier, this is a decent ending. I wasn’t a novel reader, but coming here and reading about the arcs, including the modern one…I kinda expected it. Could this drama have done with perhaps 2, or 3 more episodes in the mortal arc so it wasn’t ridiculously unbelievably rushed? Yes. Emperor Sima Jiao was suspicious and trusting in love with a non mortal in a literal episode. But his smile, waiting, and acknowledgement in the modern arc, and her words through tears did indicate that she knew him. This is a HE in my books! And 10 mins of the modern arc is more than we get in some dramas…
when the princess said the emperor “humiliated” her in the library, what did actually happen?
