I think the saddest part of Ep14 for me is that everytime Sol sees 35-4 Sun Jae she sees a stranger that isn’t her Sun Jae because she watched that Sun Jae die in front of her, this one is someone she doesn’t know with the same face and voice. So she saved his life but the one she fell in love with and built all those amazing experiences and memories with is, as far as she knows, gone forever. Seeing 35-4 Sun Jae only reminds her acutely of what she lost. No wonder she looks so heartbroken this entire episode!
I don’t think she even realises it herself until 35-4 Sun Jae points out that the story is a sad ending. She thinks its a “happy” ending because she saved his life. But he points out that she lost her love, so it isn’t happy at all. (I’m actually not sure about the translation here (that’s the viki one)- is he saying that the man also lost his love?) Either way, it’s such a deeply sad episode overall and a really complicated look at mourning. I can’t imagine if the same thing happened to me with my loved one I would probably just never recover.
I want to see role reversal in the future where Sun Jae becomes the problematic actor who won’t do kiss scenes anymore because of his wife.

Sun Jae didn’t notice that he was reading the first line of a drunken resignation letter that wasn’t any of the names of the movies that were just listed for the award so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he’s a huuuge himbo 😂😂😂
