I started "The Untamed" n at the 1st episode... I have a doubt if I shud watch it or not... ???
Is there some specific reason why you have doubts? We all have different tastes when it comes to TV shows so I can't say that you'll definitely love it if you continue watching, but I can say that the first episode really isn't enough to decide whether this particular show is good or not. I was hesitant at first because there were 50 episodes and I wasn't used to that, and then I decided to watch it and I got intrigued after the first episode (even though I thought it was a bit cringey) but only after 10+ episodes have I realized how much I actually love it. It takes some time for the story to pick up momentum but once you get to that point you'll know why so many people love it.
Can someone explain how these VIP subscriptions work? Do we buy it only for one specific drama or is it a monthly subscription & how much does it cost? I would like to 'officially' support Xiao Zhan's work but I'm completely clueless when it comes to this (・∩・)
Hello, Can anyone please let me know how's the romance angle in the show? There's a tag here censored romance!…
The 'censored romance' tag is for Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, something between strong bromance and romance. They never kiss or anything like that but their feelings for each other are beautifully portrayed and couldn't be more obvious. Hope that helps :)
I watched the two episodes with Xiao Zhan and I'll watch the rest when they put English translation, but from what I've seen it's a really good, slice of life type of drama that talks about the struggles most of us went through during the height of pandemic. I really like it. Can't say I understand those comments about it being misogynistic seeing how some of the main characters are women and nurses who actively contributed and helped during the pandemic, but I guess people always need something to complain about (in case they're not antis which they probably are but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Either way, I'm looking forward to the rest of it.
or watch this amazing lady's explanation at 4:30:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uD2ufr5GxY
She didn't explain anything tho, just said women are mad because of how they're depicted. I'll watch it and decide for myself whether it's justified or not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Rewatching TV shows/dramas was never my thing no matter how much I liked them, but I'm actually rewatching this after finishing it not long ago. I got my friend (after pestering her for days) to watch it with me so it's even more fun this time around.
There are some things that I don't like about this show but I can't say that I'm not invested. I already like all of these trainees and I'm pretty sure I'll support them once they debut. My top 3 are Jay, Heeseung ang Sunghoon tho. I really hope Jay doesn't get eliminated because of global voting :/
I kinda "ruined" this for myself. I watched the first two episodes, then skipped those 30 ep about the past (because I just wanted to see what will happen next) and then couldn't control myself and kept watching until maybe the 40th episode before I stopped. To top it off I also watched anime adaptation and read many spoilers so now I pretty much know everything that's going to happen before even watching it. I still went back to the beginning and now I'm on ep. 9 and will keep watching normally lol. Anyways, so far so good. I really love it. CGI is kinda questionable but it doesn't affect my enjoyment. I wish I could go back and stop myself from reading/watching spoilers tho :'(
Why does it matter what the "Haters" do? Genuinely curious. I've never gotten a good reason why people are so…
I'm fine with negative reviews, everyone is allowed to state their opinion and rate shows however they want. When I mentioned haters I didn't have in mind people who come, write a negative review because they didn't like the show and move on with their life, but people who are basically camping in this comment section and "spamming" with their hateful and quite honestly goading comments.
Also, people who are obsessed with something they love will always look better in my eyes than people who are obsessed with something they hate. It's that simple, and if you find haters' behaviour not weird then that's your problem.
"How come people who love the show, like yourself, always have to bash the people who give it poor reviews? What is your purpose? Calling them weird now? Just curious as to your reasons. Is this comment section reserved for people who love the show only? Can we critics not coexist with the other side?"
Again, I'm not bashing people who give it poor reviews, but trolls/haters. There is a difference between the two.. And I'm gonna say it again, it's weird. Now, as someone who didn't understand the hype before the show started and someone who doesn't understand the hate after it ended I'm just gonna finish watching it and move on. Y'all can continue fighting each other, I don't really care.
First half (except 1st episode which I didn't really like) was interesting and I watched 7-8 episodes in one sitting, but after that it became quite dull. I'll finish watching it because I want to see how it ends, but they should've made it shorter. Nevertheless, it's not as bad as some people say it is.
