my question is, why they make another drama with the same story, same title and from same country with a year…

The trailer is a little bit cringy for my taste, and looks like this drama has so many pairings. I'm fine with 2 couples but a drama having so many couples/characters really prevent the show from being concise that it feels like it's a hookup party and the other side couples have very little screen time to develop their respective plots. Most likely I will wait until after it airs and checking out the reviews before starting this drama.

Well idk if anyone notice, but the poster explain it all. Like the poster foreshadowing what will happen since…
4 guys looking at Tharn and only 1 looking at Type. The unfairness hahhahaha. But at least the one looking at Type is the one that Type loves...that's all that matters.

Yeah been reading about MODC since yesterday. I was actually waiting for that one to end so I could binge it.…
I didn't like MODC at all and I tried to watch it but I just couldn't...and the title alone already hinted at where the show was going so I just dropped it

This I agree so much! As a new actor, Gulf's doing even better than some other ones who has a few series under their belts. *Cough, cough looking at New.*

I think there will be no season 2 beacuse plot-wise, LBC is the season 2 of TharnType.
This I agree. LBC had too many couples for me, much like 2Moons and also watched LBC mainly for AePete.
And as for TT season 2, I also want a TT-story focused, and maybe a Tum/Tar development at most. But I'm not liking this Tar and prefer the Tar in LBC.

I really get the vibe like the comfort they have with each other. You know even some gay guys find it sensitive…
No worries. You didn't hurt me personally. It was just the sweeping generalization I guess that I felt the need to defend other fans. Also I'm usually passive in other forums even though I frequently visit them but I rarely comment on them, especially if I encounter posts that look unreasonable as it would be a my waste of time. I only thought to respond to yours as I saw well-thought out comments despite the difference of opinion. But ultimately, I'm here to enjoy the series and just look for morsels of TharnType/MewGulf. :)

As a shipper myself, I don't take issue with people shipping, and I don't have any problems with your comments as we can agree to disagree. I don't even deny their chemistry nor do I comment negatively on other people's comments when they're shipping.

What I did take issue with and only reason why I responded was your labelling of people who don't buy into their narrative in real life as "antis" and your claim that they have Modus Operandis as if they are some kind of criminal syndicate.

Realize that not all people who don't have the same beliefs as yours are out to get you, they just have different perspectives that may not be in line with yours.

To call them antis as if they aren't worthy to be fans just because they have a different opinion to me was a greater insult to begin with.

Mewgulf are the hottest thing right now in the BL world, I love their onscreen and offscreen chemistry, they are…
The only Thai couples I follow offscreen other than MewGulf is MaxTul (from Together With Me).

I don't feel the same chemistry off-screen with PerthSaint although their on-screen is amazing. Off-screen I see more PerthMark and MeanSaint who are all in Love By Chance.

TayNew for me is better off-screen than on-screen as they are real life bestfriends and their Meal Date show is funny as heck.

Outside of Thai, I only followed RuiWen (from Irrresistable Love) and ZachFandy (from History: Boundary Crossing).

So you are saying that a video of them celebrating his recent bday together PLUS pictures of said video with hearts drawn over from accounts that religiously follow each other isn't preponderance of evidence, I don't know what is. By the way, said videos and pictures were *shared* first hand that you don't have to even dig out for them, like you know how others share their IG or FB stories when you follow their accounts that is public.

If using law to discredit basic logic of human interaction just to satisfy your "objective" conclusion makes you sleep better at night, then be my guest.

I'm just choosing to keep my head intact and out of the clouds.

Its funny how you use the objective and pragmatic approach on me when I'm not the one matching their astrological signs together nor the one reading the toxic comments as you mentioned in her IG.
The same way you probably found her account was probably the same way I found hers because its an account on Social Media which she didn't make private so there's no invasion of privacy there.

By the way, I didn't follow her because of Gulf but because I'm queer and I find her attractive like I find a lot of girls attractive.

But that's just me.

Like you, I take second hand information with a grain of salt. I don't really go on YT for the commments but only for videos of their interactions and especially interviews where I get information from the horse's mouth. Another way is also following their official Social accounts and even then, I don't believe what I see because a picture of an actor with his arms around a girl doesn't mean they're dating, could be a friend, could be a relative, could be a colleague. The same way I see a picture of a guy wrapping his arms around another guy could also mean anything. But if there's enough circumstantial evidence pointing to one way or another, then the believability factor increases.

I'm sorry but if you read one of.my comments, I do not agree about fans spreading her name or account in public or social media. I am not defending the people who do this, but what I am saying is that we should be open to the fact of that they have lives outside of MewGulf. And I'm not saying that they are devoid of emotions either that they won't ever catch feelings when filming but we saw already the danger of that happening to Mew and the whole drama that came after.

I said in my comments too that whoever they end up with is fine by me. After all, we don't have a say in the matter whether we ship them or not.
But I'm just saying that being over invested in a ship would only lead to disappointment when it doesn't match with one's fantasy.

Like its funny how you are trying to prove it not being real by going to this girl's IG which you deny being his GF but in fact when you follow her that closely, you should also see that she uploaded an IG story that just answered very question. But I know that even when presented with evidence, there will still be a denial like "oh they're just friends" and even if in the future, they were to admit it, the response of wishful thinkers would be "they won't last long, they would break up, etc etc." Anything to feed a fantasy.

That's what is called fanservice, to service the fans. They are promoting and not lying. In the same token that they are not officially saying in public their dating status, MewGulf is also not stating they are dating each other. Fanservice is just an extension of their promotion for their drama. If Mew or Gulf goes to film another drama and paired with another actor, they will do exactly the same.

By the way I have a degree in psychology and just because you see something that is played out in front of you doesn't mean its real or not real. Much like people in real life also have their public and private personas and you don't need to be in the entertainment industry to see that.

These fans who share pictures and even the name of the actors' girlfriends are only fueling the fire. To protect them, they don't have to disclose names unless the actor publicly shares it themselves. New New did admit to having a girlfriend, but they broke up (there is a video of him saying this if you follow him). Same with Krist, breaking up with the girlfriend (also there is a video of him saying this in an interview). Singto at one point was living with his gf but there was an issue with his gf's and his gf's relative. Max had pictures of his gf on his IG in the very beginning but were later taken down. Same with Gulf. They do this so they can promote the series and also protect their gf's from harassment.

For me, I don't think they need to do this but I can understand why. It's because the industry and climate is different in Asia where actors or celebrities are discouraged to date or even if they do, they are kept hidden so that fans will think they are still single and therefore attainable or that their current on-screen partner is a possible mate.

And it happens more so with BL Ships as Hetero ships not as much, especially if the actors have already publicly announced he is dating or married to a person other than his on-screen partner.
You don't see the same thing happening in Hollywood or Western entertainment industry. How many times have we heard of Taylor Swift's many dating partners or Justin Bieber's etc. etc. And just because a couple's chemistry is blazing on screen does not necessarily mean that they are hooking up off-screen. Imagine that, actors being actors with lives outside of TV.
For whatever reason, they are dating or not, it's certainly their own personal choice. And just because an actor or an idol is dating or married, does not make me stop watching their dramas or enjoying what they choose to show us.

Do I think MewGulf pairing is awesome and cute? Yes. Do I wish there may be something special them? Sure. But just because I ship MewGulf doesn't mean I'm delusional to the fact that they have their own lives. And calling people antis for RESPECTING the actors' choices whether in regards to their sexuality or whom they chose to date IRL...is contrary to loving them as actors and people. If people claim to support and love these actors, they should also support their decisions too. They don't belong to us. Of course, I mean everyone fantasizes from time to time but to force fictional convictions upon someone else is just not healthy.

Just an example a lot of people probably know about excessive fanservice or obsessive shipping can lead to hurt was the story of MewArt. Or any other relationships or friendships destroyed by it. Why Krist Perawat had to apologize for having a girlfriend when he had one before was unnecessary. The harassment of said girlfriend was equally shameful. Despite people's excuse that these actors signed up for it when they decided to enter the public realm of entertainment, so they should expect or even handle any unwarranted invasion of privacy, it does not mean that we should forget that they are human too and have feelings.

You are right in the sense that we should anticipate and accept of a ship being possible in real life, but in the same token that you are saying that, we also need to accept when the ship isn't real. It goes both ways. If Gulf is happy with Mew, great. If Gulf is happy with his gf, then we should wish him happiness as well.

The very same way when Brangelina became real and then becoming not later. Who are we to say what is best for them?
These actors do their best to give us fans what we want, by providing us a good show whether on or offscreen (yes, including the fanservice), so it is only fair for us to support them in their endeavors.

I think it could be for the fact that the start date keeps getting delayed.
This is why MDL should put a block on giving ratings like how you can't put "Completed" if a drama hasn't aired yet. It pisses me off. People putting any rating, either 1s or a bunch of 10s beforehand. Smh.
