Slow burn, spinelessness in the FL and game playing. But they do have nice chemistry once they get together.
Thanks!

Have to disagree with you on everything you said. Israel has been attacking Gaza for decades. Israel has been…
Woman and men were raped during the October 7th attack.
BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67629181
UN: https://press.un.org/en/2024/sc15621.doc.htm
NYT:https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/28/world/middleeast/oct-7-attacks-hamas-israel-sexual-violence.html

Israel never built tunnels that traverse into Egypt or Israel. While Gaza was within the Israeli border, Israel built cement basements for storage. Hamas built tunnels for the sole purpose of smuggling in weapons.

Israel started searching all imports into Gaza to make sure no weapons for war were entering the country AFTER 2007 when Hamas took over Gaza. ANY country in the world would do the same thing under similar circumstances. Food was allowed - not weapons. Why didn't the citizens of Gaza receive the food - because the food was used and metered out by Hamas. They had it, they chose not to give it to their people but to use it for their own needs (trade it for weapons, etc.).

As for "occupation," HAMAS occupied, terrorized, and subjected their own people to suffering. Again, imagine if the money spent on building those tunnels and buying the weapons had been spent on food, housing, parks, services to make people in Gaza live better? Imagine that. But instead, Hamas planned and enacted war on a country that (of course) would retaliate. Hamas knew what they were doing and they knew that much of Gaza and many Gaza civilians would be destroyed in the process. They knew all of this and yet they still attacked Israel.

Hamas had full control over their country - they attacked Israel on October 7th to stop other Middle Eastern countries from signing peace treaties with Israel. (Israel and Saudi Arabia were days away from signing a peace and trade agreement that would have brought stability to much of the region). Hamas WANTS chaos and a common enemy in the region because that is how they keep control.

As for your comment that innocent civilians, journalists, and aid workers have been killed - yes, it is a tragedy. It is horrible that innocent lives are lost and I don't wish this kind of suffering on any nation or any people ever. May we all live in peace. That is my greatest wish for the world.

But war is hell. And Hamas started this war on October 7th knowing the horror it would bring to Palestinians. May we all pray that when this is over, the Gaza people will be able to elect a Palestinian government that will care for the health and safety of Gaza and its citizens first and foremost, and they can rebuild with the mission of life, not destruction and terror.

As every government in the world, Israel is far from perfect. But when attacked, Israel has the right to defend itself, as every nation in the world would.

hamas created this war is crazy israel stole their homeland and violently controlled them for decades
No. Jews have lived in that land for over 3000 years. Pre-Roman empire, pre-Ottoman empire, pre-British mandate.

Jews and Arabs, Arabs and Jews; both groups have lived in that land for over 3000 years.

You’re going to have to go back millenniums to show what land was stolen. Not decades, not centuries, milleniums. And the land was stolen FROM the Jews. Read history books. Get your information from facts, not just Tik Tok and propoganda. You might have righteous indignation, but without knowledge, you sound like a passionate idiot.

Israel GAVE Gaza to Palestinians in 2005. Israel invested, built, and nourished a modern and fully functioning country - hospitals, hotels, highways, factories, beachfront locales, infrastructure, farms - and then gave it to Palestinians for peace.

In the last 19 years, Hamas could have built anything they wanted - water reclamation plants, electricity plants, universities, more schools, more hospitals, more housing for their people - but they chose instead to build underground tunnels as a means of war. Hamas received billions of dollars in aid for their people, but instead of helping their people, Hamas chose to invest in weapons. Instead of building clean water plants, Hamas chose to dig up the water pips and use the metal for bombs. Then, Hamas chose to attack, kill, rape, and take hostage civilians. Many of those killed and taken as hostages were from countries all around the world. Hamas declared war on Israel. Israel responded as ANY country in the world would.

War is horrible. Hamas created this war. So when you say free Palestine, you better say free Palestine FROM HAMAS. The Gaza Palestinian people have suffered, but they have been suffering for the past 20 years from a Palestinian terrorist group that would rather ruin their own people in the name of destroying Jews. Hamas tried to destroy Israel and Jews on October 7th. Hamas planned and attacked Israel FIRST and don't you EVER forget that. Anyone who throws around the words "genocide" and "apartheid" shows their own ignorance to the issues and the fact that they are either 1) easily fooled by anti-semitic, Jew-hating propoganda, or 2) are anti-semitic Jew-hating people.

This is my second drama with Elvis (Fake it Til You Make it - a solid watch) and in BOTH dramas the other characters call him Elvis, not his character's name. Has anyone else noticed that? Why do they do that?

Also, why are the ratings so low? I'm on episode 6 and it's good - what's up MDL??!!???!!

HELP!!!! I watched this drama two months ago and I still can't get over it. This (and my all time favorite Just Between Lovers) are the perfect emotional romances with both depth AND sizzle.

I'm currently watching Are You the One, which is sweet, but I need more romance and weight. I watched Rememberance of Things Past and loved it, but the romance was a back seat to the women's stories. What else is out there as good as WLiS and JBL?????

P.S. If you are on the fence about watching this drama, watch it - it is a romance catharsis for your soul!!!!

A truly wonderful show about three independent women bonded together through friendship, sadness, their hometown, and their love of Beijing. It's got the strong women friendships of "Sex and the City" but no sex; instead it presents depth, pain, setbacks, hard work, longing, disappointment, joy, love, and personal growth. Of the three story lines, one was a bit annoying, but even that character had a surprising and ultimately rewarding end.

At 12 episodes there's no filler, and the acting, direction, and production is stellar. I've been in a sad place the last two months and the bubble-gum fantasy of K-dramas (my obsession since 2019) has been leaving me cold. For something that will feed your soul, this is the ticket. I found this after watching (and rewatching) "Will Love in Spring." I fell in love with Zhou Yu Tong and Li Xian from that drama. Now I have Bia Yu Fan to add to my heartthrob list. This drama doesn't have the chemistry or heat that WLiS has, but the romance is pure and sweet and both dramas have a mature serious vibe.. If you're looking for something real and satisfying, definitely give this drama a try - I totally recommend it.

I need someone to tell me to stay with this drama. I'm on episode 4 and I'm ready to drop it. I love Jang Na Ra and I adore Nam Ji Hyun in everything she does, but I'm really struggling; the naive passion of Nam Ji Hyun in a professional setting feels so false to me , the comic relief of PO is pathetic, and the talented Kim Joon Han is totally underused. The episodic structure is frustrating me to no end. Does is it get better after episode 4 or is it more of the same. Such a waste of talent. Sigh... Thoughts?
