Yeah i struggled with TYFY. I think they both just didn't work. I like Li Qin so was surprised and had to drop it - and she does romance shows with pecking BUT sells the sizzle really well. :(
Could be the directors? Or I'm just unlucky as love Dilbara (BW), Xing Fei (MCWML), Seven (UTP) or Li Qin (TYFY). - they just happened to work with the wrong directors. The common factor ML is not at fault at all.

Yeah i think his style prob works with the right actress. Having said that i do like 'Forever and Ever' but it might have been Bai Lu, she's up there with my favourites.

Plenty of cdramas where its done beautifully. Without cut outs, zoomed in lips and awkward angles. You are an actor in a romantic genre. Be professional
Can he just stop doing Romance. He clearly has a problem with kissing scenes in Romance shows. I don't watch romance to see grown ups kissing on the forehead or zoomed in lips??!! Are we 10years old. even Kdramas still get us excited up to ep9 or 11 sometimes for that romantic passionate kiss.
If its a marriage thing switch genre. The latest show not even one. Some actors can afford not to kiss as trhe chemistry is just sizzling! Sorry really getting annjnoyed!

He happened to be cast with FLs i like. He also is in the tv shows for the 2novels i read recently.
