I think you might enjoy more the original version of the show: Sungkyunkwan Scandal
So self righteous. Bish literally got annoyed coz how dare Han Su ask to get paid for his work.
She is the definition of clueless princess with good intention, but no true knowledge of how the fuck world works, coz she was always privileged enough to be shield from it all.
When someone in a shy way told me it's their first time apologizing, I would not find them charming. I would right away think they are egocentric dick who were blind to all the times they caused someone harm and should have apologized but did not lol Coz there are no people who live their lives without making mistakes that hurt people, that they should apologize for π
Still think Bona does amazing job acting wise.
Overall, not a bad episode. The ending was for sure highlight and if it was not for it, I would probably drop it. That ending gives some good stakes and makes Kang Han Su more interesting, so I will for sure check out episode 2.
I don't blame him for taking the role, but then showing Jay saying how good of the leader he is, and Zhang Hao saying he will be a good leader... yeah now after all the toughest job is done and you have half of the initial members to manage. Like... I just felt like the praise was not earned...
Sorry, but Gyu Vin betting 1st with that barely passable rap is just π€‘
As for Matthew issue. I kind of get where it comes from. Other members changed their positions around and he had no choice to follow, even if he was not the one to initiate any changes. It must have felt frustrating. Like Seung Eon being the main vocal from the start was risky because it's basically main dancer/main vocal position (since he leads dancing during the chorus). So they basically made a rushed decision during the first positions picking and now Matthew is basically being "punished" for it. Because they went simplicity - best vocalist sings as mian vocal, and they completely ignored how much dancing the main vocal has to do. This leads to everyone changing their positions now. It would be different if Matthew did not get the sub vocal one from the start, but now after practicing it so much, being happy he got it, it's taken away from him... Must suck. And Seung Eon saying he should have said he wanted that part from the start, but did not want to be greedy so he just took what part was left... WHICH WAS MAIN VOCAL ππ I am sorry but the whole situation is this team is a full on clownery. And I'm sorry, but I think it's at least to some extend on Han Bin as the leader. Said it once, will say it again - he is not a good leader, he is a good teacher. These are not the same.
Gi Tae is one of the best k-bl characters we've got. I would not mind a special episode or something, just to see the character more
I'm just really happy they truly seemed to liked each other. Too many times we get BLs with characters not feeling like a couple at all outside of the kissing scenes...
And many trainees just pick the leaders from trainees that rank high, not checking if they have the proper skills to actually lead. Like Sung Han Bin being a leader now, when his personality is more on the avoiding conflicts and he really always tries to be nice and not hurt other people's feelings. And that led to the whole issue with Matthew and his parts...
Kicking out Woong Gi after he gave so many ideas, and then the leader? And the issue with Matthew and his lines. It's a natural thing - they get more pressure as they get closer to the end.
I said it, and I'm saying it again - Ji Woong would be a good leader. At first I thought Han Bin was a good choice, but half way through last episode and now this episode I feel like he is more of a great teacher rather than a great leader. I think maybe picking Ji Woong would have been better for the team.
I FUCKING KNEW! I heard the preview of the song back in the ep and I knew this is PHan Bin song. It fits his vibe and dancing style so well. Glad to know he actually liked it a lot too and even used it in between his EG practice.
Not gonna lie, the team leader picking for Over Me put Zhang Hao is a bit of a bad light. And it's all with how they edited it, and his behavior is understandable, but I'm still meh about the whole team's behavior. No one wanted t be the leader when it was 10 members so Jong Woo took the role and organized the whole team and thanks to his leadership they were able to even practice this smoothly, then they kicked him out, and now only when the job is easy, Zhang Hao was like - yeah I can be the leader. This whole bit left bad taste in my mouth, not gonna lie.
Kamden and his bro needs their own reality tv show. These short interactions were so funny π
That one time mnet did something right with the evaluation being the letters from the audience to the trainees.
i want to finish the ep but i need to go to work π
