I have a serious question, and I'm especially interested in hearing from Korean men who have been in the army.…
I highly doubt anyone in the army will know who these actors are and what roles they took, unless they talk about it themselves. I assume you talk about Cha Seo Won. He is not exactly a big name in the entertainment industry. And if he is big enough to be known there, he is also big enough to be protected, coz the last thing military wants on their ass is a story how an actor was abused because of his role.

My assumption is that Jae Won is putting his energy into Ji Hyun as a coping mechanism to process the death of…
They will for sure use the younger brother in one way or another.

Okay but on a very serious note… what is the hype with gyuvin? This whole thing seems rigged to me… Mnet is…
I honestly don't get the hype over Gyu Vin either. I left zero lasting impression on me. He is fine and cute when interacting with other trainees, and I would even say he does better performance wise when they just practice. But on stage, he barely exists.

and on ep 24 I still can't really tell you what's going on because nothing is going on. < this is a feeling I kind of often have when watching c-dramas. I feel like they tend to have a lot of filler scenes because of the longer run time, so the plot is kind of lost.

I think you might enjoy more the original version of the show: Sungkyunkwan Scandal

I enjoyed the archery plot a lot and I think they did a great job with it. Would not even mind getting a similar drama just focus on that aspect of the plot.

hakyeon only had 5 seconds of screentime in 2 episodes free my man!!!!
I'm sure he will get a decent screen time. At the end of the day he is named as one of the main characters, not a supporting one.

I love Bona, she is such a great actress, but her character here sucks so much in episode 1πŸ˜‚
So self righteous. Bish literally got annoyed coz how dare Han Su ask to get paid for his work.
She is the definition of clueless princess with good intention, but no true knowledge of how the fuck world works, coz she was always privileged enough to be shield from it all.

When someone in a shy way told me it's their first time apologizing, I would not find them charming. I would right away think they are egocentric dick who were blind to all the times they caused someone harm and should have apologized but did not lol Coz there are no people who live their lives without making mistakes that hurt people, that they should apologize for πŸ™‚

Still think Bona does amazing job acting wise.

Overall, not a bad episode. The ending was for sure highlight and if it was not for it, I would probably drop it. That ending gives some good stakes and makes Kang Han Su more interesting, so I will for sure check out episode 2.

I totally agree with your point on leadership :-)On the Say My Name group, clearly Sung Han Bin was trying to…
The worst part is, it was not like Matthew kept the position coz no one else wanted, but they all legit said he should keep it coz it fits him. So to few days later say - switch positions coz it does not fit you was just like a joke. I don't blame him for asking if it's a joke at first, coz that was kind of the vibe of the whole situation. Getting your position taken away coz it does not suit you, when the same people told you you should keep it coz it fits you 🀑

I don't blame him for taking the role, but then showing Jay saying how good of the leader he is, and Zhang Hao saying he will be a good leader... yeah now after all the toughest job is done and you have half of the initial members to manage. Like... I just felt like the praise was not earned...

Not gonna lie, I found it funny how Hui wanted to be the leader and convinced the team with his producing skills (not just music but performance wise), but then for the first evaluation with masters they did not add anything to the choreo and they copied everything as it was shown even the gestures πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ And then the "we need to reflect" bit - all of this feels so stage I cannot πŸ˜… Even if it's not, it feels like a idols drama hahaha

Sorry, but Gyu Vin betting 1st with that barely passable rap is just 🀑

As for Matthew issue. I kind of get where it comes from. Other members changed their positions around and he had no choice to follow, even if he was not the one to initiate any changes. It must have felt frustrating. Like Seung Eon being the main vocal from the start was risky because it's basically main dancer/main vocal position (since he leads dancing during the chorus). So they basically made a rushed decision during the first positions picking and now Matthew is basically being "punished" for it. Because they went simplicity - best vocalist sings as mian vocal, and they completely ignored how much dancing the main vocal has to do. This leads to everyone changing their positions now. It would be different if Matthew did not get the sub vocal one from the start, but now after practicing it so much, being happy he got it, it's taken away from him... Must suck. And Seung Eon saying he should have said he wanted that part from the start, but did not want to be greedy so he just took what part was left... WHICH WAS MAIN VOCAL πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I am sorry but the whole situation is this team is a full on clownery. And I'm sorry, but I think it's at least to some extend on Han Bin as the leader. Said it once, will say it again - he is not a good leader, he is a good teacher. These are not the same.

'jumping to comclusions' is one of the most annoying things in romance dramas lol good it ain't here.
I'm just really happy they truly seemed to liked each other. Too many times we get BLs with characters not feeling like a couple at all outside of the kissing scenes...

probably they choose someone that suited with the song over me so the result becomes like that, or probably somehow…
I don't hate Zhang Hao, but I overall think most of the trainees lack leadership qualities and many want to be leaders only if everyone goes smoothly and with no issues and then they claim they can be a good leader, and when there is a chance of problems showing up, no one wants to take a role. And the thing is, literally everyone is a good leader is everyone is cooperative. The whole point of being a leader is managing the team and knowing how to deal with difficult situations.

And many trainees just pick the leaders from trainees that rank high, not checking if they have the proper skills to actually lead. Like Sung Han Bin being a leader now, when his personality is more on the avoiding conflicts and he really always tries to be nice and not hurt other people's feelings. And that led to the whole issue with Matthew and his parts...

That's the last round before the finale, their last chance to make people like them and vote for them. Everyone gets more desperate for votes.

I guess they are so close to the finale it's the time they start to be more selfish - and I mean most trainees.
Kicking out Woong Gi after he gave so many ideas, and then the leader? And the issue with Matthew and his lines. It's a natural thing - they get more pressure as they get closer to the end.

I said it, and I'm saying it again - Ji Woong would be a good leader. At first I thought Han Bin was a good choice, but half way through last episode and now this episode I feel like he is more of a great teacher rather than a great leader. I think maybe picking Ji Woong would have been better for the team.

I FUCKING KNEW! I heard the preview of the song back in the ep and I knew this is PHan Bin song. It fits his vibe and dancing style so well. Glad to know he actually liked it a lot too and even used it in between his EG practice.

Not gonna lie, the team leader picking for Over Me put Zhang Hao is a bit of a bad light. And it's all with how they edited it, and his behavior is understandable, but I'm still meh about the whole team's behavior. No one wanted t be the leader when it was 10 members so Jong Woo took the role and organized the whole team and thanks to his leadership they were able to even practice this smoothly, then they kicked him out, and now only when the job is easy, Zhang Hao was like - yeah I can be the leader. This whole bit left bad taste in my mouth, not gonna lie.

Kamden and his bro needs their own reality tv show. These short interactions were so funny πŸ˜‚

That one time mnet did something right with the evaluation being the letters from the audience to the trainees.

i want to finish the ep but i need to go to work πŸ™‚
