I loved the article tbh. I have this love-hate relationship with hyped dramas. Like Why R U was hyped as on feeds (well... 70% of the hype came from me lol) and I love the whole hype experience, but now with It's Okay To Not Be Okay, I am done. Sometimes it's just too much. I like the type around the dramas that are obviously not the greatest but simply entertaining. Coz one one is on high horse and trying to defend the show left and right.
Anyway, I lost any interest in watching this show anyway hahaha
If you even have a different opinion than me about a drama, feel free to disagree hahaha
As for the drops, there are some hidden gems there, I just know it and needs to find them hahaha
I don't think the dramas are now worse than they were before. I tried to rewatch some older shows and honestly": they are not that great either in most cases. We are just more critical now, as we watch more shows.
As for your views on the shows: damn I am in between. I loved Mr Sunshine and Goblin, liked Thirty byt Seventeen and Her Private Life and disliked or dropped Cruel City, Suspicious Partner and The K2 lol
My fav part of the article was how Jeana, you said you could not feel the chemistry between leads from 30 but 17, and Minarii was like " The chemistry between the main leads is incredible" hahaha someone who have not seen it would be hella confused.
Also, I'm legit lowkey sad you did not talk about your initial thoughts on Flower of Evil. The header was a clickbait lol
cute fluffy drama in between to detox from the heavy dramas < definitely. + watching only the dark dramas all the time might be boring too. They often use similar plot lines and tropes. We need to mix the genres to get the most out of viewing experience :D
At least this is how I see it ;)
