I'm so confused about this show. How come we have RamKing's beauty next to BohnDuen monstrosity? How are these to co-existing in one show? lol

I agree they dropped all these characters fast at the beginning and it was confusing, who is who and works with whom? But as you said, they slowly eased us into knowing them :)
For me, best medical drama so far :D

Agreed to all of that. Tho I never get bored about the specialist medical stuff (I like how they explained explaining all the terms etc. with the use of interns and students).

that said, pssst: pretty sure not all of them were childhood best friends and they met already at the university as students.

Saint more or less cut any connection to LBC by now.
Also... I'm not sure I get why he can't be in this show coz he played Pete in Love By Chance. It's not like BL actors have to stay with one pairing/one character till the rest of their lives and limit their choices coz of it.
And yeah, Perth/Saint fans were angry. There was quite a lot of drama and hate sent Zee's and Saint's way when Why R U was announced etc...

Again: how I understood it. Fight fell for Tor right away, and accepted he was gay that moment (or knew it earlier. Anyway he was not troubled about being gay). The reason he kept running away when something happened between him and Tor was not because he was scared of liking guys, but he was scared of liking Tor (as a specific person) or just liking anyone (like opening to another person and being vulnerable around them). He said he tried to stay away from Tor but he couldn't at the end coz his feelings were too strong.
Tor was more of "discovering with Fight" being gay but he was more curious and not scared. That's why he was "leading" the interactions. The whole conversation with his sister kind of confirms that Fighter was the first guy he liked.
So basically how I see it: Fighter was scared of falling in love and being open and attached to another person, Saint was curious but also cautious, because Fight kept pushing him away.

They were flirting. And fight gave the bottle to hwahwa only coz he got fluttered by Tor teasing him to admit he bought it for him and treats him well lol That was the first time Fighter and Hwahwa interacted. Few months later they started "dating". That's why Tor was so confused and annoyed. Coz, as you said: it seemed like they were both flirting with each other, but then Fighter starts dating his best friend.

How I understood it from the show and what I read/heard from the cast.
Both Tutor and Fighter kind of liked each other, tho it was far stronger on Fighter side. He went about it all wrong "teasing Tor", but it was because he didn't want to cross the line (as he said, he tried to stay away from Tor, but the more he tried to stay away, he more he wanted to get closer).
They were kind of friends and from the scenes it look like they are slowly developing "something" but then out of the blue Fighter started dating Hwahwa, and from that point their "friendship" was kind od lost. Tor was annoyed coz not only their interactions changed, but also he thought Fighter is just using Hwahwa and doesn't really like her *the liking part makes sense).
Truth to be told I never felt like Tor hated Fight that much. It was a dislike and he was quite reserved around him, but hate is a big word to use.

there's nobody else who would be such a perfect fit for these roles < the truth has been spoken. I don't think anyone would fit Lan Zhan and Wuxian more than these two.

While Lan Zhan is also the main character, in my eyes: this is Wuxian's story. Dare I say he is one of THE BEST written characters I have ever seen in dramas? Yes. I was so amazingly impressed with how complex his character was and how many layers there were to unpack...

Really good review! IT's so hard to explain why The Untamed is so good without spoiling everything....

So you watched this scene first, and then the first one? It makes sense you liked this one more. They are quite different tbh, and I guess it depends with that expectations you go into watching. I would probably like it more if I saw it first too :)

Yeo Jin Goo is honestly not the best in picking roles: he has either hits or misses.
IU did AMAZING here. She is one of the few singers turned actors who can compete with others in drama/movie industry and not stand out as a bad one.

I was hesitating so badly whenever I should watch this show or not, since it didn't exactly seem like my cup of tea. But at the end I gave in and damn I loved it.
"There is something warm-hearted in this drama" 100% agree! Because all the female leads had such a vastly different personalities and struggles, I think every viewer could relate to some plot lines at one point or another.

omg yes! It's just sad how underrated this drama is even tho it's soo good. But I have noticed a lot of "healing" dramas are underrated. I guess people prefer the exciting, at times over the top productions...

I totally agree that this show is more than just a cute teen rom-com. The issues they talk about are pretty heavy but presented in a way that does not live you feeling depressed. For sure one of the better high school shows.
