Ok, so I rewatched the first two eps (it's tht good), and I feel like it still isn't enough! I want to watch them…
I just think the writers of this drama are smart enough not to overdo it. you have to make the drama well balanced. If they try to make every aspect of it surprising and complicated and deeper then they might end up with mess that they won;t be able to explain within the 16 episodes. I honestly don't mind some of the parts of the plot to be more 'obvious' or easy to explain if it means they will use that 'free time' to explain other more complicated elements of the plot. but then, we can all be wrong and it;s something totally different that no one saw coming hahaha. We need to wait for next episode. And I truly love this part of watching dramas, just waiting hahaha

Well, that's I think the easiest one to answer: The whole purpose on Kang Chul's life right now is to get revenged on his family killer. And who killed his family? Sung Moo. He created the killer, he is the master mind behind all the bad shit that happened to Kang Chul And at the end of the 2nd episode, we can see that Knag Chul knows there is something more happening, that 'something/someone' is messing with the world he lives in and is trying to get rid off him. And that knowledge is what Sung Moo fears the most, coz it;s only the matter of time that Kang Chul will try to defeat his creator and gain the 'absolute' power and control over his own life. So he decided to kill Kang Chul before Kang Chul tries to kill him. The whole quote with 'I'll eat him before he eats me' just proves this. Especially now, that his daughter got dragged into the webtoon, he might be afraid Kang Chul might try to use her against him at some point. So the answer is: why he tried to kill Kang Chul: because he fears him. He is just afraid that Kang Chul will get the revenged he wants.

Pretty sure Kim Hyun Ji is not dead but in coma. She doesn't have this glowing aura around her like other ghosts and she just looks way too... human. That might also explain why she doesn't know how and why she died, coz she didn't. And she can't 'go to the other side and disappear' like she should, coz her body is still alive.

maybe she can enter the W world when the plots needs it? Since it's webtoon. 1st time she entered to save Kang Chul's life and same with 2nd time. Both were strictly connected to her skills as a doctor. the 'almost' car accident, she would be able to do nothing to stop it even if she got there again. It's not like she could stop those cars with the power of her will. And in preview on the next episode, maybe she was dragged inside yet again, because Kang Chul was looking for her, and for the plot to continue (and not just having him searching for her for next 5 chapters f the webtoon) she ended up at W world again. She enters when the plot needs her character, and she disappears when she is not longer needed aka when there is the end of the chapter... ALSO we can assume that her father was in W world too. And he saw Kang Chul. So there is a possibility he is the killer of Kang Chul's family. Because is he is not the killer I don't see a reason why and WHEN he would enter the W World. He was never mentioned in webtoon since the only unidentified character is the killer. Maybe the 1st time Oh Sung Moo got 'to the other side' was to kill, and that 'visit' gave that spark of life and made it possible for Kang Chul to make his own independent decision. The moment Yeon Joo's father stepped into W world it's stopped being just webtoon.
It's hard to make any assumptions based on only those 2eps tho.
ALL I KNOW IS THIS DRAMA S MAKING ME CRAZY hahahaha I don't even know what to think anymore.

this drama is soooooooooooo good. so much potential, the plot is gold and they can do so much with it. The characters are amazing and the pace is just right (not too fast not too slow). I'm praying they won;t fuck it up later...

I'm thinking about dropping it. I know it's medical drama but I don't think it means they can just fuck ever crime aspect of it just because it's not the main focus. ALL the cops are dumb and it's sometimes ridiculous to watch. The lie detector scene killed me. It was too frustrating to watch.

at the end of ep 6. If he really fainted, she wouldn't be able to stand and hold him. I mean a man this tall would…
same thing I was thinking hahaha

WHAT An episode 5 is. I was 75% sure that lackey doctor is the one. Also he is president's right-hand. How come…
well Beautiful Minds is melodrama. It's stated as melodrama. And cool for you, you googled stuff and learn a little bit here and there. Does not change the fact that the whole psychological part of the plot is bullshit and it looks like the director of the drama did exactly what you did: googled some stuff and added them without doing some proper research on the topic. It's almost as bad as 'madame antoine' in portraying the psychology. And I doubt they target the same audience: people who like rom-coms watch Doctors, people who like crime-driven stories watch Beautiful Mind. debis said it right: except from the 'medical' aspect (more of 'most of the plot happening in hospital), they have nothing in common. so there's no point in comparing them.

honestly both Doctors and this one is terms of medical aspects are bad shit. The only difference is: Doctors is promoted as a generic rom-com and no one ever said it's some serious shit, while Beautiful Mind was meant to be this deep medical crime melodrama and it fails. Both dramas has some good and bad points. Honestly no idea why you even bring Doctors here.

Ji Hong is such a smooth motherfucker. Every line he says is melting me. The scene where he told Hye Jung he likes her was just way too smooth, I died.

Honestly it's so obvious why Kim Min Jae did what she did. She's so gonna get that professor position she wanted so badly thanks to ratting on Yeong Oh at the end of 5th ep.

Honestly I do love this drama so far BUT the back story of Jeong Do and Seong Hee is weak. I was ready for something…
I don;t care much about her character at all. this drama would be much better without her... I kind of get Jeong Do's reasons, but Seong Hee is all over ridiculous

1st of all she doesn't know teh basics of her own field. She can't just go around arresting whoever she wants. She does not have any concrete evidence so she can't really arrest anyone. And what's most important: there is no case open... and if there is no case for murder you can't arrest anyone EVER. I might be picky since I'm quite familiar with justice system but with the knowledge she has... she would never be able to pass any exams to be a cop... and it really annoys me

maybe.. maybe not. But the fact she hate's him so much just because he broke heart hurt when she was in high school is ridiculous. In real life people break your heart a lot and you just hate them for a while and then just forget them. I just thought it would be something more serious than teenager's broken heart...
On A Beautiful Mind Jun 29, 2016
I get it now. Jin Sung is not going to miraculously 'cure' Yeong Oh with a power of love. The 1st thing he will ever feel... 1st emotion will be anger and frustration BECAUSE OF HOW FUCKING DUMB SHE IS.
On A Beautiful Mind Jun 29, 2016
I can't with Gye Jin Sung. At the beginning I thought it was a good call for her to be a little bit naive (aka believing Suk Joo is innocent no matter what) and inexperienced but the ending of 4th ep killed me... she's just stupid. How did she passed all the tests to be a cop?
