Typical romance comedy with the poor overweight girl gets dumped and is now taking revenge on the ex-boyfriend…
really? Coz the plot in most period dramas is extremely predictable. And if somehow it happens to be something new it ends up to be the most ridiculous stuff I've ever seen. At this point all the writers can do is take bits and pieces of different dramas and make it as interesting/entertaining as it can be. period dramas has exactly the same cliche and unoriginally things going on as any other drama. It just looks more original and interesting coz it's happening in a historical times. At the end of the day this drama in not suppose to be some original masterpiece cuz just simply entertaining drama you won;t get bored off. And as for me it's doing really good. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion
Typical romance comedy with the poor overweight girl gets dumped and is now taking revenge on the ex-boyfriend…
literally there is not such a thing as original fresh story in kdramas anymore coz everything was used at some point. If they decided to not take up any 'reused/rewritten' roles they would be without job at this pint.
So... episode 10... So from the start, Soo Ah spread rumours; she bribed guys to injure Ha Dong; she used Yeon…
This^ At the end I think writers had no idea what to do with her and they were so desperated for happy ending, it just concluded in bad writing and forced character development. The fact that everyone apologized to her and blamed themselves is so not fair. I was harshly bullied in school to the point when I had to change schools. if someone ever said I have to apologized to people who bullied me I would slap the person who said it. Maybe the writers wanted to gave a good example about forgiving each other etc, but you need to earn forgiveness and Soo Ah did not.
the most ridiculous part was when Dong Jae hugged Soo Ah so she won;t get into an accident, which... he wouldn't do with his disability to touch people. Like how does this make sense: he did not save Yeon Doo with the whole glass falling and now he did it with Soo Ah. We saw no progress of him being able to even slightly touch anyone, but here he is full hug. He should get full panic attack right there in the middle of the road... Sloppy writing is so annoying.
For people who say that it's not Soo Ah fault and it's because she was growing up in a toxic environment, please use your brain? So did Ha Joon but you don't see him almost killing someone every few eps. And don't try to say that he was 'fine' coz he had Yeol, coz Soo Ah had Yeon Doo as her friend who would do anything to help her. But then she decided to fuck up their relationship. All she did was her choice. She needs a serious therapy and be punished for her wrong doings... and having 'stain' in her school rapport is not enough. She literally does not value other people life and health at all. And her 'suicide' attempt should not make her 'oh poor kid' anymore. When a rapist or murderer kills themselves no one say 'oh poor them they probably had some issues'. Coz they all had their own brains and are responsible for their own decisions. Gosh I hate Soo Ah.
the more I read about newest eps the more I don't want to watch it. It just all screams bad writing and awesome character development. + putting SooAh and Dong Jae is like THE worst idea ever... you don't put people with such a serious problems in relationship together coz it's unhealthy.
anyone saw the preview for ep 9? It looks like Soo Ah pushed Yeon Doo down the stairs. And the slap. Next ep is going to be so intense. + Yeol is finally being more clear about his feelings for YD and not just go around joking.
The endgame is Tae Oh & Song Yi right? But it seems so ridiculous right now. They have 4 episodes left... how they are planning to make it happen and look even slightly realistic?
If the plot twist is that Yeon Doo & Yeol end up being step sibs and Ha Joon ends up with her, I'll squeal, or…
I suprisingly wouldn't mind that BUT it's so clear Yeol and Yeon Doo like each other in a romantic way it would be kind of creepy and weird for them ending up as step siblings...
I really can;t see Ha Joon falling for Yeon Doo. It just looks like he is really happy to be able to interact with someone else, not only Yeol. He is craving that friendship. And I hope it'll stay that way. No romance there. He really don;t need to have his heart broken.
I'm sacred of watching 7th ep... I rally don;y want Ha Joon to have any romantic feelings for Yeon Doo... Just…
I'm still not sure about his fillings. He does not act awkward around her like a typical 2nd lea character, he looks more of a little bit shy but surprisingly comfortable. I'm still hoping for him to just like her in a friendly way and I ill deny any romantic feeling until he admits to it himself hhahaha
I'm sacred of watching 7th ep... I rally don;y want Ha Joon to have any romantic feelings for Yeon Doo... Just let them be best friends and together annoy Yeol... Don't make a love triangle of it...
I don't understand why people feel sorry for Soo Ah. You don;t feel sorry for murderer just coz he had a tough childhood: you put them in jail or mental institution. Soo Ah is not different. Excusing someone's bad behavior coz they have personal problems is just wrong.
I want Yeon Doo & Ha Joon to be really close friends. And since Ha Joon will figure out Yeol likes Yeon Doo I want him to be all 'annoying' and make him jealous all th time by hanging out with Yeon Doo and being all nice and close to her. But I can't take the thought of him actually falling for her. It would be such a boring idea. Their friendship have way more potential for the plot.
Like... can Kwon Soo Ah just... die? Like... now. please?
exactly. I honestly love the bad characters, true villains who know they are bad. But she is just annoying. Pretends it's not her fault and that she wasn;t wong... there are things you can, and cannot do...
So far I like soo ah's story line more than the main characters. The main characters are almost too dimensional.…
Soo Ah's character is boring and the most typical out of all the characters. Pick literally any high school drama and you'll have the same 'Soo Ah' like character who have terrible parents and is willing to do everything to 'make them happy'. There is nothing refreshing about her nor redeeming. Making her 'a better person' will be such a cliché. I hope the writers won;t go that way and make this drama even slightly different. But yeah, they can't make everyone happy right? You want 'good Soo Ah' (like many others), I want her bad till the end. :)
