Girl did like 5 mouth to mouth, but only like 4 chest compressions, you ain't saving shit with that π€£
I did not read the synopsis nor the characters' names in the cast, so I was quite surprised Bok Yi Na was Bok Gwi Joo's daughter π π If the characters are similar age the actors, dude had her at 18 π€£
Bok Gwi Joo drunk in the middle of the day, dark circles under his eyes, hair all messy, probably dirty coz he did not shower in god knows how long, not caring if he steps on a glass.
Do Da Hae: It's good to know you are doing okay.
Me: bitch how is this okay? π€‘
WAIT A MINUTE! She is not that good, she just drugged the old lady? Holy fuck π€£
Okay so she is basically a sociopath lol Kind of disappointed, coz that's exactly the role I expected from Chun Woo Hee, wanted to see something different.
I'd be depressed with family like that too π
Damn... she truly is a scammer. I kind of wanted it to be a typical good natured lady saving a broken family π I wanted to see Woo Hee is a really feminine and more delicate role...
Why does it feel like the car accident wasn't an accident, but she did it on purpose?
Overall, I think they took a huge risk with making Da Hae such a vile person. Like... she is so bad, it's hard for me to even feel excited for her character development. I rather see her demise... So I;m wondering if they did not take it a bit too far with how they wrote her. Especially the last scene when she talks with her family...
He is truly dedicated, to even want to tattoo a mole on his face π€‘
AND LEGALLY CHANGING HIS NAME LOL
Ki Sub is nuts, a proper psychopath hahahahaha (I don't mean it, or do I? π)
At the same time, I don't give a fuck about side couple omg. I kind of want to skip their scenes π
When you think the episode is going to end on jealousy scene, but they take a completely different direction π€£
I'd just laugh about it
I'm sure I'll think it's better if they edited that unfortunate make out session in a different way π€£
This is so much better than I expected. I actually loved first two episodes.
Everyone is a perfect level of unhinged π€‘π
Yes, it was vague,
yes, it lacked detail,
yes - the presentation of the ending could have been improved.
Somehow I don't mind?
It gave me enough to understand the situation the characters were in.
Enough to stop for a second and think about their issues, motivations, ways to improve and reasons they don't.
I think I'm honestly vibing more with short vague stories than longer overcomplicated ones π
For me cohesive thoughts: https://kisskh.at/profile/Shini/reviews/355539
Here's the thing, at first it may seem that Yoon Dae is the "broken" one and Soo Hyuk is the older "brother" who will help him. But in fact, Yoon Dae is in much healthier place mentally than Soo Hyun. At least he is able to vocalize when he struggles, show frustration and anger, which Soo Hyun is not. He just keeps going pretending like he is strong enough to carry the burden of all the people around him.
What is seem like is Soo Hyun can give Yoon Dae stability, while Yoon Dae can give Soo Hyun release of all the emotions he was piling up.
THE WAY THE FRIEND SAW IT ALL OMG I AM DYING HAHAHAHA
OMG AND HIS REACTION TO JUST GIVE THE FLYING KISS TO THE FRIEND TOO π
Omg he is the greenest of green flags. How he figured out she needs to pee so he acted as if he needed to use the toilet so the bus driver would stop and let them out. Damn.
I spoke too soon. The way he sent her off to pee π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π€‘π
The friend is such a good wingman tho ππ»π―
JHASDGBSHJFGASJ,F HAETJK, RB DSHRYJKFABDFMDSJ,MDSHG OMG THIS IS A MESS BUT A GOOD MESS OMG.
YO THIS IS LIKE BASICALLY SOMEDAY OR ONE DAY ALL OVER AGAIN LOL
Okay for real tho... not sure how I feel about it. Like... she will unintentionally hurt both dudes ππππ
Now I feel like i need to rewatch the locker scene again ππ»
That locker scene was honestly the best thing about this show. I am so fucking grateful that they kept Joo Ha they way they did and made him react the way they did. I love how he still thinks it's wrong and gross, but staying away from Do Yoon is even more painful. I love how they showed just the first step, rather than them yeeting his mental health to a final line of being cured of all the issues π€‘
Don't get me wrong, it's still really grim, but rather than depressing dark, it feels empty dark, which sometimes... it's even worse feeling.
Three things I loved about first two episodes:
1. How Yoon Dae reacted with frustration to Soo Hyuk being nice to him. It's so realistic. Since he does not know how to react and feels complicated emotions about it, fear being one of then, he just reacts with frustration and anger, and it's not really directed towards Soo Hyun, but rather himself and the overall situation. Lee Jae Bin did really well presenting these feelings.
2. Cha Soo Hyuk not being able to cut off his toxic parents. And that includes his mother. He struggles to say no to them, even though he knows what he is doing is wrong and leads to more self distraction - long term not helping anyone. But just because he knows and he hates the situation he is in, he struggles with ending it. Feeling responsible for people around you, when they themselves don't try to fix their situation is awful. You end up with two choices: leaving and feeling guilty, staying and feeling all the pain and frustration.
3. The intro! I love the art in the intro so much. It's one of the rare cases when I do not skip it and watch it all.
