They should keep the casting 20+ in the first place, but if they did not, AT LEAST they should keep the cast around the same age, otherwise it's borderline pedofilia. there is also the case of who was cast first - and then they should match the age of the actor for whomever was cast next... but they obviously did not give a fuck. Would not be surprised if they made that casting on purpose to get some media attention

no if the rest of the cast are young. If 90% of the cast is int heir teens and max early 20, then you don't just cast a random 27 as a romantic partner.

Of course the best case would be if everyone in the cast was 20+, but since they decided to cast so many teens, then re-casting that one older dude makes more sense from the production standpoint.

All it took was first half of episode 5 and now I'm kind of vibing with Head Secretary, when I wanted him dead before.
All I wanted for him to see the potential in the King and not make him into a useless one like the one he removed from the thrown. That just annoyed me. You cannot become a traitor because the previous king was not going the kinging, but now you also do not allow the new king to do his work and tell him to just party and chill. But now that he personally said that even if the choice was one he does not agrees with, it's good he actually made one for the sake of the people, instead of not doing shit. I am so curious about their dynamics now.

This is the type of a drama I am never in mood for watching and I always have to force myself to play the episode, but once I play, I cannot even take a pee break coz I don't want to pause 🤡

August is just a poor casting choice. Surrounded by minors, there was no reason to cast 27 as a high schooler. The characters are not supposed to have age gap, the character does not suppose to look older, the plot does not center around age difference. There was literally no reason to cast an adult to play a romantic partner with a kid. I refuse to believe there were ZERO capable and fitting actors closer to the age of the rest of the cast. Especially since it's a remake of a popular BL, so I can imagine many people wanted to audition since it's gonna be popular just by the title.
