The mere suspension of disbelief required in this cdrama was astronomical. There is not a single thing in this…
@cdrama lover, it really pathetic, that you have blocked me and then you are commenting that it s good, you are active and I am arrogant. Let me assure you I am just more self assured than you. And btw this was what I was trying to write back to you.- "Man u did a complete u turn. Also, read closely, I beg you. Read and try to understand what words mean. I don't watch what people suggest me. I do some background checks. I have twice mentioned it. And bro, let me assure you this it will be you who will be agreeing with me. I can bet it with my life. Its my life story. Anyway, it was nice bantering with you. Thought I was back in school. Now a days very few people go head to head so passionately."
Respectfully disagree with you.If you don't like the plots , cinematography, dubbing it is ok.No problem.Peoples…
Wow.. Clearly lines of propriety are being blurred here. You have stressed more than enough of your perception of me being immature. Well the way I see it, you are clearly trying to defend cdramas because you love them by loosing objectivity. Each country has different drama style, I agree. But the basic like screenplay writing should be engaging atleast. So what if billion people are fool, I don't care. The directors do really cut corners in their work and so does the actors and producers in cdramas. And I really don't understand why I have to limit myself to genres. I love all genres. If you had looked carefully at my list instead of just looking for things to make your point, you would have noticed I like a thriller as much asa fantasy as much as a rom-coms as much as a drama as much as a melo. The only condition is, it should be entertaining. And completing a task is something I want to do. Although I find the dramas waste, still it tells what not to do in writing or acting or makes me understand what makes a drama good or bad. And dear cdrama lover, my watching experience is not limited to just c,k,j,t dramas. As I said I am a connoisseur. Do you only eat rice all the time if you like rice? No right. So why should I restrict myself to one genre. Hell, even actors and writers and other who make them don't restrict themselves to the genre at which they are good. So it seems your argument is kind of full of loopholes just like a chinese drama. Hahahaha Don't be insulted or be angry and look at your own amateurish thinking and perceptions and logic before calling me out, you simpleton. Zàijiàn!
Respectfully disagree with you.If you don't like the plots , cinematography, dubbing it is ok.No problem.Peoples…
I don't agree to this school of thought. Unless I give chance to other dramas and some new shows, I won't find good material which will give me satisfaction. Your observation regarding me not being able to know my preferences is a very very very long stretch of imagination. I don't know on which info you came up with that theory, but let me assure you fellow drama lover, that is not the case. At the very least you can say I not tied down to any particular genre or country's drama. I am a connoisseur, unlike some simple ignorant fools. Regarding my watchlist, I have seen few more c dramas. But I have forgotten their names. Also they were not that great to begin with. Hence I have not included those. Anyway, the plot of cdramas while reading synopsis seems promising. So I start them. But by 5-7 episode I am let down. I am watching you are my glory now, but man that ML is really a stuck up prude. And nothing is happening. SOmetimes I think cdrama writers/directors take their audience for fool. I mean the crap they show shows they are not honest or serious enough. I really didn't understand how that male actor got on the top list on MDL. Afterall looks do matter I guess. And let me tell you, I don't watch them becasue others are watching. After hearing recommendations, I read their synopsis, their ratings. And then I undertake the drama. Because I don't like to drop them no matter how boring or irritating I found them. And again, your suggestion relating to not completing it, it seems you don't read the answers properly. I simply am not ok with dropping them.
Respectfully disagree with you.If you don't like the plots , cinematography, dubbing it is ok.No problem.Peoples…
See you asked office rom com dramas that I liked. I told you those that have these elements. I found Secy Kim okayish (try to read carefully). Apart from few troupes there were some major plot holes. But it was breezy and the actors were really far better than the actors in Gf is alien drama. If you say, Fang Leng is very different than the typical CEOs, than i really think you are not objective enough. Congrats to you to be able to distinguish genres and know which is your favourite genre. For me, genre doesn't matter as long as it keeps me engaged, as long as it is entertaining. So, clearly genre is not a problem here but the way this drama was shown.
Respectfully disagree with you.If you don't like the plots , cinematography, dubbing it is ok.No problem.Peoples…
Well what you described here regarding charachter development is related to writing. I am saying do you really find Fang Lie a good actor? The charachter development was not seen in acting. Just saying I love you and doing things that are written in script doesn't mean there was chemistry. That Fang Lie guy and FL were actually the worst actors in this drama.
Respectfully disagree with you.If you don't like the plots , cinematography, dubbing it is ok.No problem.Peoples…
Okay, I will answer you: 1. Why did I start the drama? - My friends had watched it and highly recommended it. So I read the synopsis. I felt intrigued. So I watched the drama. 2. Why did I completed the drama? - Because I was hoping there might be something that my friends liked. So I kept watching. By the 14-16 episodes when I realised that the drama couldn't get any better, it was too late. Because, leaving this half way bothered me. I wanted to go all the way. I have already too many dramas on hold and dropped list. I didn't had the heart to add another. 3. Regarding your accusation of me just wanting to bash the drama - yes, its true. I wanted to bash it right and left. Why? Because it rightly deserved it. 4. Regarding it being most viewed- I can understand the appeal of the plot. And I have observed, the people on MDL are pretty big hearted while giving the ratings. They look over the subsatnce for the fluff. So are they blind? They might be. All I know is I am not going to say what I don't agree with just because millions of people are saying its good. That gives rise to culture of mindless followers. 5. Regarding the claim that I am the one who is blind - Did you see any emotional variations apart from 2-3 emotions? Was there any trace that pointed to you that the actors had tried to develop their charachters? They had worked on it? Or atleast did they even emote properly. If you can't see this, I recommend you increase your drama watching experience. Try to see what the scene demands and what they are acting. Try to go global. Don't be assured with below average c-dramas. 6. Which office romances I like? - I found Secretary Kim okayish. Be Melodramtic was good. Romance is a bonus book was good. But still I haven't found the one.

It is not just below average but bad. Thoroughly bad and they seriously need to take some acting lessons. And if you say that's a joke then I can say with surety that you are a blind person pretending to see. Of course I say this with utmost respect.
The mere suspension of disbelief required in this cdrama was astronomical. There is not a single thing in this drama that can be labelled as average. Everything - acting, plotholes, dubbing, cinematography, direction was thoroughly bad. It takes talent to make such a drama. Hats-off!
This drama was so unsatisfying and boring. Adding to that long stretched self-pity and self-hatred and guilt story line. The charachters were a problem. The grudges seemed too trivial. Taeyang's so called love for her unni was pathetic. And the most irritating charchter was the ML's mom. She was so duplicitous. And why are the FML and SML are always walking and acting with their hands in pocket? Lol.. All issues get resolved but the resolving was so superflous. And we never got to see our leads defeating the second leads. It was all taunting and professing of selfless love. But they never made the heart feel their love or their pain. The most irritating part was these people seemed to live in a bubble. Such a bunch of entitled and self loving people.
Well attitude begets attitude, cheekiness begets cheekiness!! Anyways, there is no need to tell others rights. It is mutually understood. And I am actually waiting for people to talk about their views without trying to be PC, whatever they may be. So if you wanna talk on opposing views without trying to be cheeky, I am all here.
I didn’t find it depressing I found it moving. Also some of the songs were just eh I agree but I thought there…
Hmmm.... Okay. I think I was expecting a more tightly written script due to all the hype. I agree FL's acting was good. But JCW seemed gimmicky to me. I have seen him in backstreet rookie, suspicious partner, healer and now this. He have those just 4-5 expressions with which he manages to act. Tilting of head, shaking of head, and such. So sometimes it seems, and especially in this drama, sound of magic, he seemed superfluous. Also I felt that Beak Ha na character was written very lazily. There was neither full resolution to her character nor adequate reason for her to be the way she was shown. In songs I liked the choreography of that exam scene song. The song that her little sister sang was also nicely done and the song itself was good. The reason I found this drama average or another run of the mill kind was because, they failed to make me connect with the characters, didn't gave me the satisfaction of enjoying it and left me with feeling of disappointment. (Sorry in advance if you are offended by my views on this.)

I am not trying to be sarcastic or anything, just asking genuinely, what did you find good? Maybe I missed it. Let me know and I will try to see if I can revisit it from your angle.
The Drama was full of unanswered questions. Pace was too slow. Few characters were written half-baked. Very few moments to watch out. The story never takes off. Songs are dull and not awe inspiring. It really left me frustrated and unsatisfied and unhappy. It was depressing and not in a good sense. It was depressing without giving solid reason to it.
