I don’t think she’s dubbed in this drama. It’s not listed in the credits, at least. The cast also did a live broadcast and I think she just put a cutesy spin on for the drama. (She’s not so annoying in Dream of Splendor, for anyone looking to see her in a different drama.)

The second leads in dramas always try to justify with the deli ticket line logic - I was here first, I’ve known them longer - as if that ever had anything to do with love. If anything that probably proves why it’s not meant to be, I because otherwise it would’ve turned into a romantic relationship already. Anyway, it’s like nails on a chalkboard whenever I hear drama characters spouting this kind of logic now!!!

It is me or fang huai is not played by xu kaicheng?
According to the credits Fang Hui is played by Wang Zi Rui. In one scene it looked like Xu Kaicheng, but not in the subsequent scenes. I suspect XKC may have been cast originally and then replaced due to his dating controversy last year. In any event, I've submitted a correction for the Fang Hui character based on what's noted in the end credits so hopefully it'll be updated soon.
Anyone know what's going on between Xu Yanshi and Chen Shan? I'm also curious about his past and his background…
XYS's past is explained in Ep 15, I believe (if not that ep, it's around there). Basically, he was in college and had an exceptional job offer in hand when his friends hacked into Chen Shan's company for fun. The rich one of their friends circle had been using XYS's computer when they did the hacking exercise and so that's how XYS got pulled into this mess. The rich friend ended up escaping abroad with his family's money and connection, which left the other guys to clean things up. XYS was on the verge of collecting enough money to pay the penalty when his dad reared his head again and took the money instead. Ultimately, XYS ended up going to work for Chen Shan so his friends wouldn't get into legal trouble.
I expect there will be, but not till after its home release in China, and that won’t be till some months after…
Well Go USA has indicated that they are working on releasing the film on digital and physical in November. Hopefully they'll be able to keep to that schedule!
I love his son (Ning Xiang?). He is so good & so cute. It's so unfair that they didn't list him in the cast on…
