Apart from Park Seojun-Go Ara’s characters’ confusion, didn’t Seo Yea-Ji’s character also like her stepbrother/half-brother Park Hyungsik’s character? Nothing new for us haha, saeguks be a little cray.
Low ratings for the first two episodes since it was competing for time slot with SBS' Buried Hearts final episodes. Though now it will be competing for time slot with SBS' The Haunted Palace and Koreans love saeguks + it's a more interesting concept with some great actors, so I'm not sure if the ratings will rise.

Looks like a lot of people missed the buildup. They aren't suddenly psychos. The foundation for their villainy was laid already. Seonwoo is a troublemaker to the point where he dropped out of school and thought a detective was surveilling him. The mom was triggered by Deokhui from the start. It was mainly Deokhui who was the catalyst for their oncoming cruelty. Seonwoo was berated by Deokhui constantly, he took it, but the second she touched his mom he was filled with rage, and she acted extra hurt to get to Seonwoo's feelings. Seonwoo was never a completely sane character, the way he smiled with greed when he first heard about the plan in the cafe, looked at the Cha mansion and Daesan sign with greed and awe, and wanted all the money, power, passwords NOW (hence the coldness towards Dongjoo). The mom was colluding with Yeom from the start, she did not trust Chairman Cha to just hand things over to them. Yeom managed to get in their head and make them cause chaos and death even while locked away.
Enjoyed the first episode, so fun! It’s giving old school K-romcom. Already love Banhee, she’s that lovable type, strong when she needs to be, but also cheerful. Liking the ML so far, I’m glad the “kinda mean but upstanding” guy is the ML. This will be my happiness for the next six weeks, looking forward to the next episodes!
I was afraid we wouldn’t get to see more of him because he has to enlist soon, but it’s great we have this and The Wonderfools coming up. Enjoyed watching him in Island and Wonderful World.

I personally feel he has a good mix of good guy, complex character, and villain roles in his filmography. He was good in Love & Leashes, May I Help You, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale (a bit of an a-hole but still), and will be one in the upcoming Pump Up The Healthy Love. Complex in Melo Movie, When Life Gives You Tangerines. Villain in The Impossible Heir, Brave Citizen, Mask Girl, Weak Hero Class 2. I actually think it's great he gets to keep playing villains while maintaining the eligibility for good roles, if he only played good characters now it wouldn't be good for diversity either.

This is my I think 7th? Park Hyungsik drama and I've never been THIS impressed with his acting. He's a rockstar in this!
