Romcoms thrive on jealousy scenes, that's why they need SMLs.
Same. I like other recent SMLs like in Lovely Runner and Cinderella At 2AM, and SFLs like in Wedding Impossible and Serendipity's Embrace. They're actually nice and helpful in bringing the leads together.
A lot of people don't know how rare it is to get an enemies-to-lovers tvn romcom with 40 year old actors with no big age gap. There are thousands of cute teen romcoms with cute idol "oppanggggs" and "unniiiiiis" but older actors we love in a childish romcom is hard to come by. I don't think they should be phased out of romcoms after a certain age, it's great to see those actors have fun too, they shouldn't be restricted to melo and thriller genres.
People saying the young actors have much more chemistry - yes they do, but the adults haven't even started yet. Don't judge so early. At this point I'm wishing they had just squeezed JJH and JYM into school uniforms to play the younger versions so people wouldn't be like the drama should've been about only the kids. How disrespectful to the main actors.
Though it's not a surprise to see more people liking the teen version more, I wonder if there are people like…
I LOVE the adult version. The teens are cute and edited better (for now), but the adults are making me laugh out loud every scene with their quirks and pettiness! I feel like the magic will happen when scenes from the teen years come back in play in the adult story. I will BAWL if/when I see that red scarf! And if JJH Jiwon calls JYM Jiwon "noona" I will absolutely lose it!
One more thing: We are seeing the full teen story but only the beginning of the adult story so it's kind of a given for some people to like the teen story more right now. I think they should wait for the adult story to atleast start, it's enemies to lovers they won't be all lovey dovey immediately.
Theory: I think Baek Sa-Eon is cold towards Hee-Ju to protect himself and not get too attached. If he is indeed adopted and an orphan, he may have this fear Hee-Ju and her mom only like his family title, position, and power, and will want nothing to do with him if/when the truth comes out.
Have been reading this on insta n twitter about the plot being unrealistic n many other criticisms. Why dont yall…
What part of the plot is unrealistic to them? We have literal gumihos, demons, time travelling fangirls, and "Italian" mafia consigliere roaming free in the Kdrama world. There are also so many rich people dramas and makjang dramas with farfetched plots for example the notorious Penthouse and Escape of the Seven where people literally come back after "dying". Are the complainers new to Kdramas or something?
A spoiler from the novel: so apparently the kidnapper is the real son to the blue house empire & our guy is the…
Seeing how the parents are, they (or atleast the dad) probably "discarded" the actual son because of his speech impediment among other things. They mocked Hee-Ju's disability too.
Just finished Ep 4 and liking it so far. I never really liked the actor, but I like Chae Soo Bin. I still don't…
I think he knows some sign language because when she was doing the interview he said she was signing some words before he even spoke them. How would he know she was signing those words and not the previous words if he didn't understand her signing? And he wants to "learn" it from her now just to spend time with her.
TikTok has fried some people's attention spans and it shows. They need to be told everything that's going on in the drama within the first 15 seconds otherwise they rate it low and call it a bad show 💀
Ju Ji-Hoon's character is so mysterious in a calm way, I love it. I like the detective, he is fun and intuitive. Can't wait to see more of him. I also like the tall woman, she's kinda cool. If I ever become a ghost I want to be whatever type of ghost she is.
If you dislike it four eps in, I don't think it'll get better for you. The storytelling is not linear or tidy.…
It might get better for them if they enjoy experiencing that "aha!" moment when everything comes together. But if they're not willing to follow a non-linear story with a multitude of characters then yeah it might not be for them.

(The makjang drama was Graceful Family)
